12/03/2026: We had a very disappointing experience at this pub today. There were five of us, but because one person in our group was only drinking and not ordering food, the staff decided to put us at a table clearly meant for four. The setup was incredibly awkward: four of us had normal seats while the fifth person was expected to squeeze onto a narrow bench that sat higher than the table itself, making it extremely uncomfortable and impractical. When we asked if we could move to a larger table, we were told they needed to keep the other tables available “in case other clients arrived.” This was already around 12:30 pm, right in the middle of lunch service. Despite that justification, the restaurant never actually filled up and several larger tables remained empty the entire time we were there. It was frustrating to feel like we were being penalized because one person wasn’t eating. The whole situation felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, especially when there was clearly enough space to seat us comfortably.
