24/08/2026: Today, Sunday, August 23, 2026, we arrived at 1 p.m. as a family. The gentleman who greeted us asked how many people were in our party (even though we had just walked in and there was no one behind us, so it wasn't necessary to count three adults and one child). He then told us there was a 40-minute wait. The restaurant was far from full! 🤗🤔 His welcome was not courteous at all. We were very disappointed, especially considering the distance we had traveled to have a good time. As a result, we left immediately. A couple came in, and before we even had time to get to our cars, they were back out. I asked them if they had also had to wait 40 minutes. Well, they hadn't even been impressed. It was the same gentleman's welcome that they didn't appreciate either. Luckily, I wasn't alone, and we had to find another restaurant. I have eaten here several times, and I have NEVER been treated like this. I would like this information to reach management.

23/08/2026: A Sunday lunchtime at a restaurant with very few people... The waiter told us there would be a 40-minute wait... as if he didn't want to work. And on top of that, the way he told us was very unpleasant... it's not the Léon of old, unfortunately. We left and won't be back.

29/05/2026: Very good restaurant, you need to book if you want to eat on the terrace by the sea, it's very popular. There are still places where you can eat local food.

20/03/2026: A nice, unpretentious little place to eat on the edge of the forest, ideal for a lunch break after a hike. Simple, hearty, and inexpensive food. It's also a real little slice of Portugal – you'll feel like you're there!

11/07/2026: Vinted drop-off point: This location doesn't respect the online store's opening hours. It's often closed, or exceptionally closed, or refuses to hand over the package under the pretext that they're preparing for a wedding or christening... even though it only takes 30 seconds to hand over a package. I had to come back four times for one package! When you agree to be a drop-off point, you must respect your contractual obligations or not do it at all. I do not recommend this drop-off point.

12/07/2026: A typical roadside diner with a buffet of starters, 3 or 4 choices of main courses, and the same for homemade desserts... all for around twenty euros including a drink... very good value for money and with air conditioning...

14/08/2026: The kebab meat tasted like plastic, the onions were undercooked. For €11 I expected better.

09/06/2026: What a disappointment!! Since the previous owner left, when the meat was good quality and the fries were very good, everything has changed. Plus, €9 for a kebab is not worth it at all considering the quality of the meat. I do not recommend it.

18/08/2026: Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome from the helpful and attentive staff. The restaurant offers generous portions, and the meat is rich and flavorful. A must-try at least once in your life.

21/07/2026: An absolutely unacceptable experience. I arrived around 12:20 PM and asked if there were any tables available. I was told there would be about a 15-minute wait. I explained from the start that I had to leave and be elsewhere at 2:00 PM for an appointment. I was assured that this wouldn't be a problem. In the end, I waited almost 40 minutes before being seated. Once seated, I simply checked my phone while waiting for my order to be taken. A few moments later, my phone rang. I answered briefly to say that I was finally seated, then went to hang up when I saw the waitress approaching. The waitress came by and told me to take my time, even saying, "Don't hang up, I'll be back in a bit," sounding relieved that I wasn't ordering immediately. About ten minutes later, seeing that no one had yet arrived, I politely asked her if she could take my order. Her response was completely inappropriate: "No, now you wait," she said in a very cold and arrogant manner. I reminded her that she was the one who had asked me to wait before taking my order. She then replied, in a particularly unpleasant tone, that I simply didn't have to answer the phone and that as long as I had it in my hand, she wouldn't take my call, and that I should therefore continue waiting. At that point, I realized I would never be served in a reasonable timeframe. So I left the restaurant without having had lunch. Therefore, I can't judge the food, since I never had the opportunity to try it. However, the service was disastrous. Being treated this way, after waiting so long despite having explained my constraints upon arrival, is simply unacceptable. I wasted my time, my lunch, and part of my afternoon. A minimum of respect and consideration for customers would be the least one could expect. I will not be returning.

10/07/2026: What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was, a real delight. Very reasonable prices, a fantastic welcome, fast service – in short, pure bliss, absolutely top-notch. A true gem.

15/08/2026: Far too expensive for the quality of the food. While the fruit is certainly the most expensive component, the dish consisted mainly of potatoes and fries rather than shrimp and lobster. The service was very unfriendly; we felt like we were bothering them. It was my first time there, and it will be my last. They've built their reputation on the quantity of food in their dishes, but the flavors simply aren't there. Very disappointed.

15/06/2026: The meal was fine except for the main courses, which weren't hot. Barely lukewarm. We mentioned this to the waiter, who offered us a digestif. We accepted it, but it cost us €60... we thought it was an apology for the lukewarm food. After our comment, he offered us another one at his own expense, which we declined. That's how you lose customers. We still ended up paying over €400 with the menu, aperitifs, water, and wine...

19/05/2026: Two-hour wait for a main course and dessert, and starters added/sold even though they hadn't been ordered.

15/08/2026: We walked 10 minutes out of our way to give it a chance, despite its current 3.8-star rating, because the food looked good in the pictures and there were some positive reviews. The restaurant was closed for vacation, but they didn't even bother to update Google to avoid situations like this.
