02/08/2026: The atmosphere and service are both wonderful and lively. The day I visited I had lunch admist a busy crowd. I would like to try other dishes on the menu. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

01/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. We had already had lunch a little further down the street and were about to leave when our child urgently needed to use the restroom. My husband went into the establishment and very politely asked an employee if our child could use the restroom. He received a positive response. So we went upstairs. As we had several hours of driving ahead of us, I decided our second child would also go to the restroom. A few seconds later, an older man, who seemed to be the manager, came running up and started yelling at us, repeatedly saying that "this isn't a public restroom" and that "we're in Versailles." If you don't want people using your restroom, simply say "no" from the start. That's your right. However, giving permission, letting a family with two young children in, and then going upstairs to shout at them is simply unacceptable. We travel a lot, and this was the first time in France that we were treated with such disrespect. Even hotels near the Eiffel Tower, where we weren't guests, welcomed us kindly in a similar situation. The memory we'll retain of this establishment isn't its food or service, but the image of a manager yelling at a family with children for a basic bodily emergency. This lack of humanity and professionalism is unworthy of an establishment open to the public. And invoking "Versailles" to justify such behavior is, in my opinion, particularly inappropriate. Versailles evokes elegance, culture, and the art of hospitality, certainly not yelling at a family with young children who had been allowed to use the restroom. Such an attitude does no credit to the image of Versailles. We will never set foot in this place again and will not recommend it to anyone. *Response to the administration's response in pictures ____

22/07/2026: We used this caterer for our wedding, and once again, we weren't disappointed. Having already entrusted them with my 18th and 20th birthdays, it was a no-brainer to choose them for such an important day. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Beyond the quality of the food, they provided invaluable support throughout the entire planning process. They coordinated the decorations, managed the various vendors, and ensured everything was perfectly in place, which was a huge relief. A massive thank you to Daniel, who was a true pillar of support for me on the big day. His presence, professionalism, and kindness allowed me to fully enjoy the day without any stress. Thanks to him and his entire team, everything went wonderfully, from the decorations and the venue setup to the vendor coordination. I wholeheartedly recommend this team. Thank you again for helping make our wedding an unforgettable moment!

02/08/2026: I strongly advise against it. Since the change of ownership, Le Savoyard has lost all its appeal. The food, the atmosphere, the conviviality... everything that made this restaurant our "canteen." Looking for mediocrity? Go ahead, this is the place.

15/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me at the Maurice Denis Museum. The location on the small square is lovely. I wasn't familiar with Swedish cuisine. I ordered a dish with smoked meat and an elderflower drink. I had asked for a rhubarb dessert, but there was a mistake in the order. I still ate the dessert, which was good (fruit soup with a tuile and lemon curd). The prices are a bit high. The service is very friendly and attentive (I was asked several times if everything was alright).

14/08/2026: A very pleasant dinner on the small square. Excellent welcome and attentive service. This tiny bistro offers a few daily specials in addition to the menu. On this sweltering evening, we enjoyed the gravlax salmon and the desserts (watermelon soup and rhubarb verrine). A charming place that we will be very happy to return to.

31/05/2026: Cozy local restaurant, the service was incredibly friendly. We spoke poor French, but together we managed to communicate well. There was air conditioning, a relief with 30 degrees during the heatwave! The food was tasty, only the steak was a bit too burnt and more rare than medium. But perhaps that is also a matter of taste. Other restaurants in this town are a bit disappointing, so we were glad we found this one.

12/07/2026: I ordered a ribeye steak and the meat was spoiled. I pointed it out to the owner, and he told me it was my mouth that was spoiled. I'd like an explanation for the five-minute wait between taking my order and serving my dish! Toni, who claims to be the owner, should really rethink how he speaks to customers; I'm not your friend! But thanks to you, we had a fantastic dinner in a real French restaurant.

10/07/2026: I can sum up this wonderful local neighbourhood Portuguese bistro by referring to the discrete sign behind the bar: E Pluribus Unum. Indeed as an American who moved to France in 1990 I remember this wise maxim from the United States Dollar: We are United in our diversity. And this is exactly why I feel so at home in this bustling vibrant bistro which in fact has become my home away from home. Always packed at lunch time by neighbours and workers from all the diverse communities that makes France such a great place to live. The coffee is the best in the Paris metro area. The food is good although I do not dine frequently there. But in any case it is a joyful place and Tony and his family are wonderful and caring hosts. If you are in the neighbourhood do not miss this festive Portuguese bistro that fully deserves a Top 5 Star rating👍👍👍👍👍👍 just to add that during these hot days profit from their sangria or iced coffee with Bailey’s
