Jardin Mazarin

13/04/2026: A truly excellent place! This was my second visit to Jardin Mazarin, a place I first discovered quite by chance, simply by passing by, and where I decided to treat myself to a delightful family meal.
The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, and the cuisine refined. The desire to please at every level is evident in the smallest details, starting with the hushed and elegant setting.
The food is remarkable and beautifully presented. Among other things: a welcome amuse-bouche, high-quality antipasti, John Dory with its delicate sauce, a fully shelled lobster, a wonderfully light rum baba... and the sauces are extraordinarily delicate (mea culpa, I tasted everything, their delicious bread tempting me to dip my guests in it, but what a treat!).
A truly special experience that is well worth the price.
Please don't change a thing, and I'll be back next time I'm in Aix.

13/02/2026: When I arrived at the restaurant, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
03/02/2026: Bad experience. Inedible burgers. Blood sausage OK. Everything is microwaved, food prepared the day before. Avoid this place. The only positive thing is the quality of service, and the Ukrainian staff were fantastic.

30/09/2025: When we were told we could use the UP lunch card at the entrance, I was supposed to be able to pay with it. However, when the bill arrived, it was impossible to pay with the lunch card, neither with my card nor my wife's. To claim they were accepting the card but then not actually accept it upon arrival seems dishonest to me. (The card hadn't been used before, so a €25 charge was possible, and it was a Thursday!) It made for a poor customer experience.

11/03/2026: An excellent restaurant offering a diverse menu that takes you on a culinary journey around the world thanks to its varied flavors and spices. The service is quick and efficient. The chef also provides customers with information about the culture and origins of the dishes. Highly recommended!
02/03/2026: I've known this restaurant for over 38 years (I'm 55). The food is always excellent and homemade. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I recommend going with friends and especially ordering the "Magic Coffee" at the end of your meal; you won't regret it, and you might even be surprised! A real gem!

I can advise enough to avoid this place.
Customer service is so shockingly bad that I would actively encourage tourists to spend your money in any other establishment in Aix.
