Jardin Mazarin sur Aix-En-Provence

A truly excellent place! This was my second visit to Jardin Mazarin, a place I first discovered quite by chance, simply by passing by, and where I decided to treat myself to a delightful family meal. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, and the cuisine refined. The desire to please at every level is evident in the smallest details, starting with the hushed and elegant setting. The food is remarkable and beautifully presented. Among other things: a welcome amuse-bouche, high-quality antipasti, John Dory with its delicate sauce, a fully shelled lobster, a wonderfully light rum baba... and the sauces are extraordinarily delicate (mea culpa, I tasted everything, their delicious bread tempting me to dip my guests in it, but what a treat!). A truly special experience that is well worth the price. Please don't change a thing, and I'll be back next time I'm in Aix.

Elegant yet relaxed, this is fine dining without the pretension. The atmosphere is welcoming, thanks to a staff that is as warm as they are professional. Every dish delivered. The Mediterranean sardine tempura was perfectly crisp, and the roasted octopus salad with Thai-spiced potatoes showed masterful balance. Don't miss the tonka bean strawberries with stracciatella foam—a truly creative highlight. With excellent local pairings from Château La Coste, it’s a brilliant fusion of high-end cuisine and approachable hospitality. A must-visit for any food enthusiast.

Simply exceptional, we went there for New Year's and the meal was perfect, from the welcome by Lucas, to the quality of the food, the location and the charm of the restaurant.

We discovered this restaurant through a private trip and frankly, we have no regrets; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Whether it was the cocktails or the meal, everything was excellent. The cuisine is refined, with beautifully presented dishes. The welcome was warm. The decor was lovely, with cloth tablecloths and napkins—we appreciated it as a welcome change from paper. The atmosphere was intimate, with soft background music that still allowed for conversation; everything was perfect. Don't change a thing; you're doing a fantastic job. We'll be back.
