03/01/2026: Oysters ordered for New Year's Eve: several were full of worms. Totally unacceptable for a bar-restaurant.
Who eats oysters with worms?
And to top it all off, the owner told us: "It's not my problem if you didn't eat them." No professionalism, no respect for the customer.
Outrageous experience. Avoid this place.

03/03/2026: The welcome was more than cold. Luckily, the sun was shining.
We felt like we were bothering the waitress; there was very little interaction with the customers.
The lasagna was industrial-style for 17 euros. It was clearly reheated. The only fresh thing was the green salad with a very minimal balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing.
We regret not having checked the reviews beforehand, which perfectly reflect our experience.
Oh yes, I almost forgot. We had the pleasure of smelling the waitresses' cigarettes during their break right behind us on the terrace, accompanied by a heated discussion full of colorful language. I'll let you imagine the rest.
Avoid at all costs.
27/02/2026: I would have liked to rate the food, but unfortunately, as soon as we sat down, I was accompanied by my daughter and granddaughter who were eating ice cream. I wanted to eat a crepe and have some drinks, and the waitress pounced on us, very rudely, telling us "it is not allowed to eat on the terrace"!!!

06/07/2024: Endroit parfait pour une soirée sympathique avec budget tout à fait abordable par rapport à la qualité de la cuisine 5 étoiles et le service impeccable. Une découverte à chaque repas d'alliances de saveurs et senteurs de saison, locales avec l'inspiration liées aux origines et voyages du Chef Paolo!
Les enfants et personnes non gastronomes peuvent profiter des pizzas qui sont faites bien évidemment maison et excellentes.
Petit plus pour les bikers aux belles bécanes : facilité de stationnement directement sur un large trottoir attenant au restaurant ce qui est très rare sur evian
04/07/2024: Ravi de revoir revivre cet établissement qui vaut le détour à Évian les Bains, l'une des meilleures adresses pour l'été 2024. Une carte bistronomique variée, où chacun peut trouver un plat qui lui convient. Du bonheur, le tout accompagné par une jolie sélection de vins. Petit bémol le jour de notre venue : rupture d'Ice tea. Sinon tout parfait , nous allons revenir pour la soirée du dimanche 7 juillet

22/03/2024: Superb place, very beautiful and very well located, this hotel is perfect for a stay in Les Contamines. Breakfast is very good, lots of choice. Thank you again for your welcome and your kindness. We will come back.
25/02/2024: Stayed for a week for our ski trip and absolutely loved it. Family chose the hotel for nostalgic reasons and I’d love to come back for when we have little ones to complete tradition. The host and hostess were very friendly and compliments to the chef for the very nice meals we had during our stay. The rooms were lovely and cosy and the ambience fits an alpine lodge, absolutely perfect. The views out the window were fantastic and magical. The living room was also a nice place to hang around where you can order drinks from the bar or some nibbles. Overall, an amazing stay and planning to come back hopefully next ski season ⛷️ ❤️
