Chez Ginette
Grandes-Carrières, Paris
21/08/2026: We always have a wonderful time at Ginette's. The team is fantastic, always smiling, attentive, and available, creating a relaxed, family atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and everything is delicious.
21/08/2026: A place I frequent regularly. What more can I say? I keep coming back and I recommend it to my French friends, as well as to foreign travelers. That's it, everything's been said!

Chez Ammad
Grandes-Carrières, Paris
09/08/2026: We're glad we stopped here. I was looking for a relaxing, casual place. It's a typical local spot, and it's popular. The owner and the gentleman with the dog are friendly.
31/07/2026: Chez Ammad: a neighborhood institution where the few remaining Montmartre locals still gather with renewed pleasure, while also attracting strollers discovering the Butte and looking for an authentic, affordable, and welcoming spot. Not forgetting the other Parisians who frequent the theaters (theaters like Abbesses, La Manufacture, and L'Atelier).
You'll always be greeted by Foued's impeccable wit, humor, and charm, under the watchful eye of the great and endearing owner, Ammad, who has been running the bar for four decades now and preserving its history, which you'll discover when you visit. Bonus: a great musical atmosphere and often jam sessions and/or live concerts.

Jour et Nuit
Goutte-Dor, Paris
16/11/2025: No, this restaurant isn't "Jour et Nuit" anymore, which I didn't know. Now it's "El Walima," with beautiful decor and, above all, delicious food, Masha'Allah. The kebabs 🍢 are cooked fresh on-site over a wood fire, served with salads and sides. The rice is very good, as are the sautéed potatoes and the minced meat sandwiches—amazing, but a bit pricey (€3). The service was a little disorganized; there was no menu and prices weren't displayed, so it felt a bit unprepared. Perhaps they've just opened, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Paris ❤️. Maybe they'll improve things.
Oh yes, I almost forgot the harira soup—so good, Masha'Allah! 👍🏻
