10/07/2025: Excellence....the best of the best in our ARDÈCHE....FRIENDLY AND VERY VERY PROFESSIONAL.....Flavors that will knock you off your feet.....I never eat celery but I tried the celery risotto and I was not disappointed, quite the contrary.....a lovely journey of flavors of old vegetables....a word BRAVO to the whole team...

26/02/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The food is terrible (in fact, it's awful), cold, dry, and don't even get me started on the presentation! After pointing this out to someone at the counter, I was called a liar and no solution was offered! If only this were the first time… It's high time the health inspectors and the management of this establishment investigated what's going on.
12/02/2026: I come to the McDonald's in Davézieux very often, and we're generally satisfied with our orders. However, it's time they respected customer requests for Happy Meals. We ask for a book, and we either get nothing or the toy.
It's time they checked their orders properly.

You can taste the passion and desire to share in every dish. A highly recommended address.
A tip: rice pudding lovers, take note… the best we've ever had.

24/11/2025: I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The service was particularly poor: when I asked how I wanted my steak cooked, the waiter claimed it was no longer possible to choose, citing some supposed new law. Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to make fun of us.
The wait was interminable: almost an hour before we got anything to eat, and during all that time, no one really paid any attention to us. The organization seemed completely nonexistent, and no one on the team was any better than the others.
As for the meal, after all that waiting, it wasn't anything special either.
In short, a very disappointing experience that I definitely do not recommend.
22/09/2025: We entered the patio a bit by chance for a cocktail... and frankly, we don't regret it. Pierrick gave us a warm welcome, directing us to the very unusual room (a former farmhouse) where there are high tables, low tables, chairs, stools, and large benches. The first evening, we kept it simple with mojitos, which turned out to be excellent. For the next three evenings, we left it to Max, the cocktail master, to surprise us with a new drink each time. They were all to our taste, even though we hardly ever drink alcohol. The Mai Tai/Espresso Martini/Jamaican Mule and Raspberry Daiquiri were lovely discoveries, but he wowed us with a cocktail that tasted like a madeleine... (yes, grandma's madeleine).
We will happily return if our travels bring us back to Vallon 😁

17/02/2026: This hotel is very charming and the staff is very welcoming.
The rooms are a bit dated but perfectly adequate.
The restaurant is excellent.
Breakfast could be improved.
The location is quite quiet despite the main road passing by.
I recommend it.
