25/05/2026: Upon entering the pastry shop, we were greeted by a kind and smiling employee who skillfully guided us in our selection. Even though all the cakes looked so tempting!
We enjoyed our cakes outside, basking in the sunshine.
We had the pleasure of chatting with Ms. Ordieni and her employee over drinks. It was a truly delightful conversation about the pastry shop's specialties, the decorative items sold in the store, and more. A lovely time spent in Bayeux.
We highly recommend this pastry shop and chocolatier.
P.S.: We are from the Orne region.
18/04/2026: The young saleswoman gave us a very warm welcome.
However, it's a shame the mini St-Eve cookies are so soft and stretchy; they flatten out when you cut them too short.

02/08/2026: We arrived at 8:05 PM. Order placed at 8:20 PM. Order served at 9:00 PM… No sauces, no napkins, incomplete orders. That's a lot, isn't it?
02/08/2026: It was another fiasco tonight. We rarely go there because we're disappointed every time. We ordered click & collect and waited an hour in the parking lot! I checked the €50 order and realized six things were missing!!!! Not one, six! How can they be so unprofessional! So I went back inside to ask for the missing items and saw a queue where people were sighing, getting impatient, even despairing. In short, we spent €50, waited an hour, and ate COLD food! I don't understand how the McDonald's in Isigny, Rots, and Courseulles manage, but the one in Bayeux has never succeeded??? Bring on the competition!

A place for sharing, meeting and surprise, without forgetting tasting, because of course the superb VB team is there to help us discover quality products, from wine to beer and certain spirits. They are real specialists, you can trust them in the choice of your bottles.
Don’t hesitate to discover good beers at the bar, with a sausage or an aperitif board.
It’s a very friendly and family-friendly place where you won’t see the time passing by.
