14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

15/02/2026: Pleasant experience, lovely and attentive staff who answer the phone when needed. The homemade breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend it. Clean room, clean and comfortable bedding, towels provided. One small detail: bring your own shower gel as there isn't any. The air conditioning was set to 24°C, we were cold during the night, and we wanted to take a bath but couldn't fill the tub as there was no hot water. A pleasant place to stay, I would gladly return.
