14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

15/02/2026: Pleasant experience, lovely and attentive staff who answer the phone when needed. The homemade breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend it. Clean room, clean and comfortable bedding, towels provided. One small detail: bring your own shower gel as there isn't any. The air conditioning was set to 24°C, we were cold during the night, and we wanted to take a bath but couldn't fill the tub as there was no hot water. A pleasant place to stay, I would gladly return. Thank you to Francis, his wife, and their staff.

26/05/2026: Alou and Fabio were the best waiters, elegant and friendly, and we were very happy with them. We'll definitely be back.

25/05/2026: My boyfriend and I went to the drive-thru. We forgot to put my fries in. We backed up in front of the window where they give you your order, and the woman who served us looked at us and ignored us. Unfriendly, not very helpful. I had to get out to speak to her, but she wasn't friendly either... too bad, her colleagues are a bit more cheerful, they should take note!

30/04/2026: We went there to charge our electric car. We had a coffee. The staff were very professional.

04/05/2026: Frankly disappointed with the customer service at Subway. The short employee who served us was completely unpleasant, didn't even answer our questions, and gave the impression that we were bothering him. Luckily, his slightly taller colleague took over and was much more professional and pleasant. Without him, the experience would have been disastrous.

11/05/2026: Nice little cafe with delicious coffee. You can also sit on the large terrace in front of the cafe. There is also a comfortable and cozy spot at the back of the cafe. Friendly service of the purest kind.
