13/07/2026: A superb atmosphere in a very pleasant setting. Many bars are closed on Sunday evenings in Brive, so we weren't disappointed to find the Watson!
12/07/2026: We left for a last-minute day trip to Brive-la-Gaillarde and ended the evening with drinks at Watson's. A friendly atmosphere prevailed, with both quality and genuine hospitality. Perfect for sports fans too. A very enjoyable time, thank you.

15/07/2026: We thought we'd have a nice family meal; the Google photos made our mouths water. The sign at the entrance says "Maître Restaurateur" (Master Restaurateur).
What a nasty surprise... Frozen fries, tasteless carpaccio, and mass-produced desserts.
We were given the summer menu, which isn't displayed here... if it had been, we wouldn't have come.
The staff speak rudely to each other... the waiters clear everything away while we still have a mouthful...
17/06/2026: A very well-prepared and enjoyable lunch. Service in the garden under the shade of the oak trees. Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for 32 euros. Tomato, mozzarella, and melon; sea bass with beurre blanc sauce and risotto; and strawberry salad.

06/07/2026: A wonderful discovery for a week spent in a small chalet during the heatwave. The place is peaceful, very well laid out, and in a natural setting.
The staff are very welcoming and kind.
There are some lovely walks to be had in the surrounding area.
05/07/2026: A place for a relaxing and peaceful holiday, ideal for families, with several activities on offer. The reception staff are helpful and friendly, and the housekeeping team is also very pleasant.
