Top-notch service. The dining room is a little noisy, but reasonable!

25/01/2026: Hello everyone,
I tried to treat myself by going to this restaurant, but our arrival was already a waste.
Once seated, 30 minutes later, they took our order for an aperitif.
Half an hour later, the waiter arrived for our first order.
45 minutes later, our appetizer order arrived, and 45 minutes after that, they took our order for the main course, which we didn't have. Very disappointed; the meal was cold and inedible.
We arrived at 7:50 PM and left at 11:30 PM. I will not be going back.
25/01/2026: How can I put it? It's an experience we won't soon forget, not because it was exceptional, but quite the opposite.
We arrived at 8 pm. We had a reservation for 6 adults and one child, and upon arrival, the waitress was already lost...
An hour after our arrival, the waiter finally came to take our order for aperitifs. When the drinks were served, 3 of us got ours, and 10 minutes later the rest arrived.
30 minutes after that, we were brought a huge chalkboard stuck in the middle of the room like a road sign, and then at 9:45 pm, we were taken our orders for the meal.
I ordered an entree of baked egg, Reblochon cheese, and bacon (I'm still looking for the Reblochon, and they should have called it a soup because it was very watery).
My father and my partner ordered snail buns. Another disappointment: good flavor, but rather cold—not great for snails.
Even though we were among the first to arrive... At the restaurant, we received our food at 11:10 PM.
And how can I put it? I strongly advise against ordering even the main course. I ordered a plain Alpine bread roll, which is a loaf of bread with Savoyard fondue in the center. It's more like a mouthwash of white wine in the few slivers of cheese, so much so that you can't taste the cheese because the white wine is so overpowering.
My partner, my mother, and my sister ordered an Alpine bread roll with morel mushrooms. It arrived almost cold, so the cheese had solidified. It was a shame because the flavor was there, although the wine was still too overpowering.
My father ordered a perch fillet with fries. The fries were cooked poorly; they were like cardboard. The fish itself was good, although the waitress was, once again, confused. She first served us two dishes that weren't for our table before taking them back and sending them to another table.
Embarrassed and confused, I went to the bar and discreetly asked the waiter to... He came to our table to let us taste what he had served us, but he got defensive and told me no, the fondue was very good. He called over a woman who was eating there and asked her, "Isn't the fondue good?" Embarrassed, she replied that it was passable. Worse, he started telling me that I should have ordered a fondue without alcohol...
How do you make a Savoyard fondue without wine???
I now understand why the staff wear Hawaiian shirts, especially since they don't match the Savoyard menu offered when customers are told to order a fondue without wine...
We spent three hours between entering the restaurant and finishing our meal. I would have liked to wait that long to enjoy a delicious meal, but not to be served this stuff that wouldn't even be given to a pig. I'm very disappointed. Not a word of apology, nothing. The cook, who ended up behind the till, handed me the bill with disconcerting aplomb, and when I told him so, he was condescending instead of acknowledging the situation.
I refused to pay for two of the meals we were served because we barely touched them, they were so inedible, and I told him about the different reviews left on Google, which he completely ignored.
It is with great sadness that I left this restaurant because I used to eat there quite often about two years ago, and the food was so good. Those days are over, it's a real shame because today this restaurant isn't even a shadow of its former self. I call for a boycott of this place.
To top it all off, my partner, who has a very sensitive stomach, and my mother, who has cancer, ended their evening over a basin, vomiting up everything they had eaten.
I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less.
