08/05/2026: Excellent service. The husband-and-wife team provided a warm and welcoming dining experience. The food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, and the Poignée de Syrah wine paired nicely with the meal. We had the Poulet Voyageur and Bol des Alpages, followed by a wonderful apple pastry-style dessert with whipped cream. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home-cooked style meal away from the typical tourist spots.

28/04/2026: Lovely restaurant, only 4 tables outside, really friendly, Peter and Sylvie are lovely, best meal we've had since we have been here, we are going back for lunch today.

22/03/2026: A delight from start to finish, including the fondue. The ingredients are fresh and local. The dining room is beautifully decorated, with a cozy mountain chalet atmosphere. The welcome is very warm. We highly recommend it!

14/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! A cozy restaurant with excellent and refined cuisine (rare for winter dishes loaded with cheese), and a very friendly welcome. In short, we'll be back! Special mention for the homemade basil white wine – a real treat!

11/04/2026: The food here is by far the best Asian menu in Morzine, with great cocktails to accompany. The beer selection is also worth a visit for. So good you'll be coming back again!

30/03/2026: This restaurant is a hidden amazing gem of Morzine. The food is incredible - and a very welcome break from the traditional mountain food of a French ski resort. Being from NYC / London, this food could easily be a successful restaurant in a major global city. Service was great and super helpful to squeeze us in. Ambiance and vibe were excellent. Everything was delicious - but if you feel like you desperately need some vegetables for a break from the other Morzine restaurants - order the broccoli and the carrots!

17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

Then there's L’Étable du Savoyard. Here, nothing feels forced. Nothing seems contrived to artificially seduce the visitor. The establishment sincerely embraces the culinary traditions of Haute-Savoie, not as a marketing ploy, but as a deeply rooted and self-evident truth. And this is immediately apparent. The place possesses that rare charm of truly lived-in spaces. A warm, understated Savoyard décor, where wood, materials, and atmosphere combine to create a coherent, almost comforting whole. You don't simply enter a restaurant… but an atmosphere. A genuine one. The welcome, for its part, fully contributes to this feeling. A natural conviviality, a sincere closeness, the impression of being received more as a guest than as a mere customer. A family atmosphere in the truest sense of the word, one that soothes rather than stifles. But perhaps the most remarkable aspect is the respect for local culinary traditions. In an era where so many establishments strive to modernize, reinvent, or deconstruct to excess, it's almost reassuring to see a restaurant fully embrace its identity. Savoyard cuisine doesn't need reinvention when it's prepared with integrity. And that evening, it was. You leave L’Étable du Savoyard with that now rare feeling: that of having shared a genuine, simple, warm, and profoundly human experience rooted in the land.

09/05/2026: On holiday in Chatel for a week, having come from Normandy, we loved having lunch at this restaurant on the terrace with the perfect sunshine... Savoyard fondue for two with a charcuterie platter and salad... Delicious! A fantastic team with excellent service. I highly recommend it! A must-try! 😍😍

30/10/2025: Overall, the food is pretty good. However, the prices are high for this type of cuisine. A croziflette made with 50% cream isn't exceptional, and meat cooked to a medium-rare instead of rare isn't ideal either. Regarding the service, there are areas for improvement. Responding with "yes" doesn't give a very professional impression, especially considering the price of the service. Furthermore, the welcome leaves something to be desired: no one seats us, so we have to sit alone. There's no drinks menu, which makes the prices mysterious until the bill. For example, €3.40 for a simple syrup is quite surprising. The atmosphere, however, is limited: only two high tables with chairs that are too small, which isn't very comfortable for eating. The tables are also too small, which further complicates the experience. If the dishes were offered at €10, I would have nothing to complain about, but at that price, it's excessive.

16/10/2025: Very good food. Two friendly people. Fast service. Just a little cold inside because the door remains open for their terrace service. We weren't upstairs. Good time. We had a great time.

27/08/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this restaurant is a true gem. The view is breathtaking, each dish is a journey for the taste buds, and the welcome is as warm as it is sincere. You can feel the passion in each plate, fresh products enhanced with talent and creativity. I envy those who live nearby and can go there regularly... it's an address we would like to keep secret, but which deserves to be known to everyone.

21/03/2026: The best French food I’ve had. The hosts are a lovely couple, the wife is in service and the husband is the chef. They are adorable and very polite. It is obvious they love what they do and they look after the customers well! I’ve had the best tartiflette in this place!!

22/04/2026: A very good experience at Satellite Coffee in Morzine. I stopped by on a Sunday morning to get a matcha to go, and it was the perfect way to start the day. Nothing beats a good matcha 🍵 The price was reasonable, which is typical for this type of drink in a coffee shop. However, I was a little disappointed with the medium cup; I expected it to be full, but unfortunately, it wasn't completely full. For the milk, you have two options: cow's milk or plant-based milk. I took the opportunity to stroll around town in the sunshine with my drink—a really relaxing moment. A great place for a simple and enjoyable break.
