08/05/2026: Excellent service. The husband-and-wife team provided a warm and welcoming dining experience. The food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, and the Poignée de Syrah wine paired nicely with the meal. We had the Poulet Voyageur and Bol des Alpages, followed by a wonderful apple pastry-style dessert with whipped cream. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home-cooked style meal away from the typical tourist spots.

28/04/2026: Lovely restaurant, only 4 tables outside, really friendly, Peter and Sylvie are lovely, best meal we've had since we have been here, we are going back for lunch today.

22/03/2026: A delight from start to finish, including the fondue. The ingredients are fresh and local. The dining room is beautifully decorated, with a cozy mountain chalet atmosphere. The welcome is very warm. We highly recommend it!

14/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! A cozy restaurant with excellent and refined cuisine (rare for winter dishes loaded with cheese), and a very friendly welcome. In short, we'll be back! Special mention for the homemade basil white wine – a real treat!

14/05/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00, but I contacted the restaurant to delay the time by 30 to 45 minutes. When I asked, the owner immediately replied that they only served until 12:45! I was already surprised! But it was the manner of service that surprised me even more! We were served by a young woman who did her job in an exemplary manner: courteous, calm, and professional, worthy of a restaurant manager! In my opinion, the owner is far too stressed and is rushing the service to finish quickly and close the lunch shift! What a shame! The food is good and well-presented! The prices are slightly high compared to the portion sizes! A quick and efficient service? A pity! The wines by the glass don't match the quality of the food, but the prices are outrageous!

11/04/2026: The food here is by far the best Asian menu in Morzine, with great cocktails to accompany. The beer selection is also worth a visit for. So good you'll be coming back again!

30/03/2026: This restaurant is a hidden amazing gem of Morzine. The food is incredible - and a very welcome break from the traditional mountain food of a French ski resort. Being from NYC / London, this food could easily be a successful restaurant in a major global city. Service was great and super helpful to squeeze us in. Ambiance and vibe were excellent. Everything was delicious - but if you feel like you desperately need some vegetables for a break from the other Morzine restaurants - order the broccoli and the carrots!

14/04/2026: Ate here twice with my wife and 14 months old todler. No issues with service even with additional requirements for toddler (unsalted fries, underseasoned pasta etc.) Nice and profesional crew inside, tasty food and reasonable prices. Worth to visit for sure.

17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

The establishment sincerely embraces the culinary traditions of Haute-Savoie, not as a marketing ploy, but as a deeply rooted and self-evident truth. And this is immediately apparent. The place possesses that rare charm of truly lived-in spaces. A warm, understated Savoyard décor, where wood, materials, and atmosphere combine to create a coherent, almost comforting whole. You don't simply enter a restaurant… but an atmosphere. A genuine one. The welcome, for its part, fully contributes to this feeling. A natural conviviality, a sincere closeness, the impression of being received more as a guest than as a mere customer. A family atmosphere in the truest sense of the word, one that soothes rather than stifles. But perhaps the most remarkable aspect is the respect for local culinary traditions. In an era where so many establishments strive to modernize, reinvent, or deconstruct to excess, it's almost reassuring to see a restaurant fully embrace its identity. Savoyard cuisine doesn't need reinvention when it's prepared with integrity. And that evening, it was. You leave L’Étable du Savoyard with that now rare feeling: that of having shared a genuine, simple, warm, and profoundly human experience rooted in the land.

09/05/2026: On holiday in Chatel for a week, having come from Normandy, we loved having lunch at this restaurant on the terrace with the perfect sunshine... Savoyard fondue for two with a charcuterie platter and salad... Delicious! A fantastic team with excellent service. I highly recommend it! A must-try! 😍😍

30/10/2025: Overall, the food is quite good. However, the prices are high for this type of cuisine. A croziflette made with 50% cream isn't exceptional, and meat cooked medium instead of rare isn't ideal either. Regarding the service, there are areas for improvement. Responding with a simple "yes" doesn't give a very professional impression, especially considering the price. Furthermore, the welcome leaves much to be desired: no one shows us to our table; we have to find our own seats. There's no drinks menu, which makes the prices a mystery until the bill arrives. For example, €3.40 for a simple syrup is quite surprising. The ambiance, meanwhile, is limited: only two high tables with chairs that are too small, making it uncomfortable to eat. The tables are also too small, further complicating the experience. If the dishes were offered at €10, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but at that price, it's excessive.

16/10/2025: Very good food. Two friendly people. Fast service. Just a little cold inside because the door remains open for their terrace service. We weren't upstairs. Good time. We had a great time.

27/08/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this restaurant is a true gem. The view is breathtaking, each dish is a journey for the taste buds, and the welcome is as warm as it is sincere. You can feel the passion in each plate, fresh products enhanced with talent and creativity. I envy those who live nearby and can go there regularly... it's an address we would like to keep secret, but which deserves to be known to everyone.

11/05/2026: The sunny inn is a restaurant that deserves to be known; the food is absolutely delicious, everything is homemade! The prices are reasonable. You might even be treated to a guitar performance by Peter! It's a restaurant where you feel right at home! Thank you for being there!

04/05/2026: I stopped by this Monday, May 4th, 2026, with some friends who are construction workers, and frankly, what a pleasant surprise! Starter, main course, dessert: everything was perfect for the price. Fresh ingredients, just the way we like them 👍 Special mention to the waitress, who was absolutely lovely, and to the setting, perfect for relaxing at lunchtime. We'll definitely be back!
