25/08/2024: Turkish eggs were amazing, great coffee. Very friendly dog….beware also friendly wasps at the time we were there outside. Overall, brilliant…except the wasps!

26/08/2024: I've eaten quite a bit of ramen and the beef ramen here is up there with the very best. Broth = umami sensation | noodles = in-house made, perfect bite | beef = succulent, moist | soy egg = absolute banger of an egg! Whole package = welcome to flavour town! My fiance had the burger, I had a bite, and that bite was damn good! Drinks were fantastic, try the chicken salt mescal, and the double sour they had on tap. Service = ace, relaxed but attentive. Absolute winner of a spot.

16/01/2025: I should say this is a terrible place so that the "pearl of portes du soleil" could be preserved for the lucky few that know about it. But it doesn't feel right to say one bad word about this place even if that means you can keep it for yourself. That being said, this place is one of the best places to have dinner in the portes du soleil area, and it might even be the best in all over France! Here is why: - The owners Philip and Cecile are super friendly - The decent to the restaurant is one of the best especially when it is dark (that reminds me, bring a flashlight of some sort) - The food, especially the cheese and meat fondue are the most delicious i have ever had (accompanied with fresh fries and salad) - When ordering the cheese fondue (traditionally) they will add an egg to the last bit of the fondue which gives you a new dish - If you are sweet you'll get a home made chartreuse (if not just order one) - If you are not full at the end of your meal, you went to the wrong place. Good to know: The meat fondue is only available on week days as the butcher is closed in the weekends and they only serve fresh meat! Before you go: - Make sure you make a reservation by phone prior to your visit - Bring cash to avoid bank transfer hassle - Bring a flashlight with enough lumen - Hang your (ski) jacket outside - Make sure you enter with a positive mindset - Bring your singing voice as things might get musical After you leave: Tip Especially for Philip et Cecile: Merci d'avoir donné au monde cet endroit extraordinaire ! 12/09/2024: Great Burgers I have ever eaten in france. The royale burger or cheeseburger are deep in flavor, well done and accompanied with fries is worth trying. They also serve local nepo beers which are a fine in taste. If you are vegetarian try the burger either rosti and hummus and avocado.

27/01/2025: The cache offers quality products which is appreciated. However, this is only the only positive point. First unpleasant point, you can't go there to eat raclette/fondue/pierrade alone. Everything is offered for a minimum of two people. Then, the quantities are extremely small. We ordered 2 pierrades (since it's the minimum for 2) luckily my mom was sick and ate almost nothing, so I ate all the meat alone which was good. The fries are not good (frozen I think). For two it was clearly insufficient in terms of meat (price: €72). My wife ordered a raclette with my son (knowing that he would eat little) and fortunately because for a price similar to the pierrade she got the right quantity for one person, my son having eaten a little bit. In terms of service, we had 4 slot refusals when we made our reservation but finally managed to find one. When we arrived the restaurant was far from full. We sat down, the waitress started installing the devices and 15 minutes later she moved us 4 places... No problem for us. But at the exit we were installed between 2 posts without much space and no one ever sat in the places where we were at the start. The wait was particularly long for the dishes and the service was not necessarily the most pleasant. The desserts were ok but even the crème brûlée was undersized. The wine taken was good, the only product with good value for money. In the end for 4 (including 1 young child and a sick adult who ate almost nothing). We got it for almost €200. Clearly way too expensive.

27/01/2025: Delicious food and great service. We were a table of 4 and had the fondue and meat sizzle platter - all was great. NOTE: The restaurant menu is aimed at people sharing dishes as most things are for a minimum of 2 people.

10/12/2024: Typical mountain restaurant, very warm and pleasant An authentic raclette with very good cheese, however the quantity of cold meats and salad for three people is far too low for the price (70€)

21/11/2024: As part of the Mont Blanc Rally, we have partially privatized the restaurant for a reception linked to an automobile brand. We met lovely people, with whom the collaboration was fluid and efficient. A beautiful address!

14/05/2024: We were waiting for 40 minutes after ordering a cooked breakfast, only for them to say that they’d forgotten. Brought it out and it was stone cold. They remade it and it was still cold. Waiter was rude and unapologetic. Still charged us full price m. Appalling customer service. Breakfast was fairly cheap and a good quality if it was actually warm.
