01/04/2024: Disappointing experience at Chef Kevin Stroh's table, and even super frustrating: excellent raw material but a mixture that doesn't work. The cooking is well mastered with seasonal vegetables. However, there is a lack of taste on the plates. Typically, lentil amuse bouche: the raw material, lentils, are very good. But something was still missing. A touch of saffron or curry, or balsamic vinegar to awaken the taste buds. For an appetizer, it was a bit like the anesthetic effect of the lentil (the floury texture) when we were expecting something more impactful. Same thing for the combination of brunoise-cut beets (earthy) and perfect egg. Something was still missing. As for the morel dish: the morels were very good, very well prepared. But besides that: a potato starch cannelloni that was dry and rubbery and tasteless. What was the point? Finally, dessert: Mexican Vanilla: the vanilla was divine but the mixture was disappointing. Finger pistachio: I was unable to cut it normally. It's already a sign. And a combination that is not interesting in taste. As for the treats: chocolate caramel tart, which covers well when everyone is full. Once again, it was well done, but we expect more finesse from a starred restaurant. The bread and butter was very good! As for the service, it was approximate: a glass of Saint Estèphe had to be served with the meat. The waiter forgot it. On the other hand, on the bill, the glass appears well... Not cool.

01/04/2024: New: Glad to have been able to sit down at 10 p.m. Unfortunately there was no more calf's head. We therefore set our sights on other dishes: pan-fried veal kidney, pork belly casserole… Once again a treat, we will not fail to come back on occasion... Very good address, plus one of the rare ones to be open on Sunday lunchtime. We tasted the snails, the homemade smoked salmon, the duck confit casseroles and the burger, all served by a very smiling young woman. Very good lunch, beautiful decor, and restaurant ideally located for those who wish to visit the city center or reach the banks of the Loire afterwards. I recommend !

The dishes are simply delicious, carefully prepared and presenting an explosion of flavors that will delight the most demanding taste buds. It is a place where you feel welcome and where you can enjoy quality cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. Recommended without hesitation for a memorable evening in Orléans!

06/03/2024: Snack yesterday at the French Coffee Shop located in the historic center of Orléans. - Not a pleasant welcome... There were 2 of us and I didn't know that everyone had to queue at the counter before being seated. Perhaps the staff could explain it in a courteous manner instead of saying "this table is reserved for people who are at the checkout" - Nice decor but each space is occupied by a table, the customers are therefore on top of each other and the room is very noisy - The staff reserves the right to move us if we occupy a table designed for more people... When the room is full, it's quite impractical. It would therefore seem that 4 people (for example) deserve more consideration than 2 arrivals earlier - the person at the checkout could have avoided saying "with a smile it works too" when we paid for our order. Her overall welcome and her answers to my questions did not justify smiling at her, which did not prevent me from remaining more polite than her... - Drinks and pastries are good but remain expensive for what they are
