09/03/2026: A warm welcome, impeccable service, and excellent northern cuisine. Pure bliss!

08/03/2026: Last night, the locals had organized a "couscous" evening, and needless to say, we were there. We enjoyed a generous portion of couscous with three kinds of meat. The meats were delicious, the semolina was prepared with just the right amount of spices, and to finish, there was a Pavlova, a light and refreshing dessert with red berries, grapefruit, and whipped cream, all on a meringue base – the perfect way to end a good meal.

15/03/2026: Delicious, it felt like a fine restaurant at a roadside diner price. Don't change a thing, we'll be back.

13/02/2026: Excellent lunch! The dishes are well-prepared, made with excellent ingredients, and served on hot plates. The service is super efficient, and the welcome is warm. We'll be back!

08/03/2026: Discovered this really nice place. Ideal for getting together in the evening over a platter and a beer (plenty of options) or a glass of wine. First Saturday concert and we'll definitely be back with friends, so see you soon ;)

27/02/2026: The Sirius's House is fantastic! Excellent welcome! We discovered it today, February 27, 2026. Patrick and Corinne welcomed us as if we'd known them for 20 years. These folks are amazing! The meal was perfect, nothing to complain about. We won't forget this great place! And I haven't even mentioned the great beer! Pure bliss here! Joël & Géo --- Gourdon.

The owner is very friendly, and since we were just passing through, we ordered the very generous and delicious charcuterie platter. A great and beautiful place, and clearly on the Way of St. James...

20/09/2025: We ate at La Gabare last night with my partner and her mother. It's always so good and plentiful. The restaurant is for sale, I hope it's just a passing idea because we would miss the kindness, the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and their great generosity. It's the second time I've had the mountain burger and I'm enjoying it so much that I hope to be able to eat more next year. And if the restaurant sells anyway, we'll follow Cathy, the owner, in her projects which we hope won't be too far off.

15/09/2025: A very warm welcome, restaurant with a view of the Dordogne. I ordered the vegan platter ☺️ it was amazing with the mint sauce, I loved it. A very generous and delicious portion. Highly recommended!
