06/07/2025: We came to celebrate our grandmother's birthday without even mentioning it when we made our reservation, the team had the sensitivity to understand it and planned music + candles which delighted our table! The dishes are excellent, the welcome and the service warm and attentive. We had a great time! We highly recommend!!

03/01/2026: On Saturday, January 3, 2026, I was served by a very promising young man in his role at the diners. His name is Matheo. Very professional for his age. Very sociable, he deserves 5 stars.

27/02/2026: Review of the GASTRONOMIC restaurant:
My experience at La Maison Demarcq in no way reflects what one would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Wearing a suit is unfortunately not enough to guarantee professional service.
The waitresses on duty that evening did not seem trained to meet the requirements of this type of establishment: cutlery dropped during clearing, an empty water bottle left on the table for half the meal without being offered another… and these are just a few examples.
The most disappointing aspect was the handling of a perfectly legitimate comment regarding my partner's starter. We had all ordered the set menu, but his plate was noticeably richer in aspic than those of the other diners. When I pointed this out, the waitress replied that the kitchen had probably made a mistake by sending an à la carte starter instead of the one from the set menu. I expressed that this had spoiled the meal, but I received neither a clear apology nor any real attention to the situation, just a dismissive "oh well..." Mistakes happen, but the lack of a professional response is regrettable.
Regarding the food, the meal was acceptable up until the main course (despite this incident). However, the dessert was a real disappointment: an extremely thick, heavy mille-feuille, difficult to enjoy, and which, in my opinion, has no place in an establishment claiming to be fine dining. It's a shame to end the meal on such an undignified note.
Finally, the music was not in keeping with the advertised setting and level of service. The playlist played sounded more like an NRJ Music Awards party than a musical selection suitable for a fine dining restaurant. This contributed to an overall inconsistent experience.
In the end, the price-quality ratio may partly explain these negative points: the pricing positioning remains reasonable, and this ultimately makes certain imperfections less surprising — even if we still expect a minimum of professionalism and consistency.
