12/07/2026: Quite a lot to say… dirty toilets, the owner insists on giving 5 stars even though we haven't tasted his food yet… he forces us to buy drinks several times, and all that just to end up eating a chicken burger when I ordered a steak, and to top it all off, I got sick… anyway, if this review can save you from food poisoning, I'd be happy (if the owner doesn't make me delete my review 😂).

A very good local restaurant, and that's a real treat! This traditional pub is truly excellent. The dishes are delicious, and the staff is very kind, welcoming, and helpful.

13/06/2026: Received a very friendly welcome and received good/fast service. The food was substandard... a pity because it has a lot of potential. We did have a lovely evening in the sunshine on the cozy terrace at the back.
13/06/2026: Friendly staff and prompt service, but the food could be a bit better. It wasn't bad, but it could certainly be a lot better. The hamburger was more raw than cooked, and the portion of the lamb skewer was rather small and bland. A shame, because there is so much more in it.

In the kitchen, they adapt to your requests, especially for vegetarians, cheese, salads, omelets, and they even offer to cook the fries in sunflower oil instead of beef fat! You'll have a wonderful time and the time will fly by. A place to remember!

05/07/2026: A must-try if you're in Dunkirk. An unusual restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Flemish carbonnade – a real treat! Afterwards, enjoy a gourmet coffee and take a stroll along the quays to help with digestion. Don't forget to book ahead, as it's often full, especially on Saturdays.
