25/03/2026: The crepes and smoothies were quite good, although the crepes were served lukewarm. The welcome was warm, which was appreciated, but the service was clearly disorganized.
An elderly person was served last, which was regrettable. Furthermore, the waiter asked me to fetch my own crepe even though the terrace was far from crowded, which was rather surprising.
Finally, the parasol at our table was closed while we were still finishing our meal, when others could have been folded up first. Overall, a mixed experience, with good food but service that needs improvement.
14/03/2026: Snack bar open non-stop with a wide selection of food: dishes, paninis, platters, salads, and all sorts of desserts, including delicious crepes. The place is clean, easily accessible, with a large terrace overlooking the port, and the service is friendly and excellent.

Except that it's a great place, with a simple but varied menu, delicious dishes, and a warm welcome.
We drove 1,000 km to find this place, and we'll be back as soon as possible!

25/02/2026: We were very disappointed with the pizzas, which we tried for the first time since the change of ownership. The dough was low quality, as were the toppings. We won't be going back.
05/02/2026: We had lunch here and didn't like it at all. It took 50 minutes to prepare a burger and a pizza. In the meantime we could here the staff arguing with each other. The pizza bottom was burned. The hamburger was very bland, no seasoning. I don't recommend eating here.

01/09/2024: Net niet! Restaurant buiten kan echt worden gemoderniseerd (meubilair, verlichting, uitstraling van top restaurant Banyuls). Eten prima, maar niet …… wauw!
Personeel, qua uitstraling en gedrag niet consistent top.
Hierdoor gewoon een avondje aardig gegeten.

Plusieurs remontrances sur un changement de plat "impossible" alors que l'entrée n'était pas lancée
Accompagnement du plat, malheureusement froid
Remarques désobligeantes sur le désir d'emporter les plats (cependant copieux et très bons) de la part d'une serveuse...
L'amabilité de cette dernière est cependant à revoir rapidement
Merci tout de même à la réceptionniste remplaçante pour sa bonne humeur et sa jovialité
3 étoiles "seulement" dû au traitement reçu de la part de cette fameuse serveuse...
Très beau cadre, très bonne restauration

03/06/2024: Week end en juin 2024,et la... Surprise ! Plus de youyou ni autre resto rapide !! La municipalité a manifestement décidé de bannir les familles modestes de cette ville, soit ! nous ne mettrons plus les pieds à Banyuls. Youyou et autres ganotes étaient des institutions à Banyuls, en les fermant, ce village va perdre ce qui avait fait son succès... Dommage...
