26/08/2026: Everything was perfect! The owners were incredibly kind to our children. I've rarely seen that in a restaurant, and it truly deserves to be highlighted. The food was absolutely delicious. This restaurant is definitely a great place to find it!

31/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant run by a charming couple. We return here year after year and have always been served consistently wonderful food. We have gluten and lactose intolerances - both of which were catered for without any problem. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of the cooking. I am surprised this restaurant does not have a Michelin Bib Gourmand rating - it certainly delivers that level of quality.

23/08/2026: We recommended to our friends, who were visiting from the UK, to go for their wedding anniversary. They were blown away: reporting it as good as 1 Michelin Star restaurants they’ve enjoyed at home. Outstanding, occasion worthy food, with excellent, facilitative, bilingual service. One of the key points of enjoyment was that they reported spending very little time without food, because the cooking and service was so well timed. Despite the fine food, portions were still well sized, so most of their two hour experience was used eating and drinking - something very close to their hearts. When I collected them the restaurant and surrounding area was radiant with life - with a god cried playing boule on the pitch outside - and created a lovely overall atmosphere under the trees of the exterior dinning space. We can’t wait to go again ourselves!

22/08/2026: We had dinner Friday night at L’Âne Rouge in Saint-Cyprien, right across from the port, and we had a wonderful evening! 😊 We chose tapas platters, with all the ingredients and preparations being homemade. Everything was truly excellent, flavorful, and beautifully presented. 😋 You can taste the quality and care that goes into the dishes, and we enjoyed every bite from start to finish! A fantastic place that we highly recommend, both for the food and for the atmosphere and setting overlooking the port. ❤️ We will definitely be back!

04/07/2026: I went to this restaurant with my dad, and it was absolutely delicious! It’s a local restaurant in the middle of the mountains, beautiful location, you need to enter the stairs to get inside. We had the 22€ menu, including the charcuterie, the entrecote and as dessert the cheese and the homemade orange ‘tarte’. Everything was so good. They had homemade sangria, homemade allioli(for the fries) and the steak had a great portion and very well prepared. Also the dessert was homemade and excellent. Would definitely recommend! oh and we were the only ones at that time haha

14/06/2026: An old-fashioned restaurant. The owner handles everything himself: reception, service, and cooking. There were 10 of us in the dining room, and no wait. He really knows what he's doing.

27/07/2026: Excellent wine shop in Argelès! A very wide selection of red, white, and rosé wines, champagnes, and spirits, with bottles to suit all tastes and budgets. The owner is a true enthusiast who knows his products inside and out. He takes the time to advise, explain, and share his passion for wine, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're looking for a bottle to give as a gift, to complement a meal, or to discover new wines, I highly recommend this wine shop!

06/07/2026: Ordered a medium pizza for €19.90. The pizza was ridiculous, bland, and dry. The worst pizza I've ever eaten. Avoid at all costs.

08/08/2026: I spent a few days in Banyuls and, seeing the great reviews, we decided to go on our first day. We loved it so much that we went every night for dinner. The food was delicious, whatever you ordered, and the staff were spectacular—super friendly, polite, and many of them spoke Spanish, which made everything much easier. It's true that some days we had to wait an hour for dinner, but the waiters let you know and offer alternatives to grilled dishes that might be quicker. But that was a minor detail, as they were very considerate and understood that most people were there at the same time. They always kept us informed and offered alternatives, so the overall quality, views, and friendliness made the wait worthwhile. I think this is what I'll miss most about my vacation: the place and the service at this restaurant. Thank you.

06/08/2026: We spent our last week of summer vacation in the beautiful town of Banyuls-sur-Mer 🌊 If there's one lovely restaurant you absolutely must try, it's La Ganotte, located in the port of Banyuls 🛳. The setting and atmosphere are fantastic, and the staff are incredibly attentive—it's truly delightful 🤗 The dishes are prepared right in front of you, and everything is absolutely delicious, from the main course to the dessert 🍨. You can go without hesitation 😊

14/08/2026: I was looking for a kebab restaurant, having just moved to the area. The person who greeted me was very kind and helped me order at the kiosk. The kebab was very, very good and well-presented. I have two minor complaints: the matchstick fries were frozen and spoiled the kebab experience. (This needs improvement.) I commend the person who cooked the kebab, but a little smile would make me want to come back! I gave my opinion honestly. To improve the quality of service, what's the point of a review? It's not a judgment. I will come back to order again. I know you will take my opinion into consideration. Best of luck to you.

28/07/2026: The restaurant pleasantly surprised us! The staff was incredibly friendly and the view is beautiful. We went here for dinner with our family. The children enjoyed a kids' menu with fries, chicken nuggets, a drink, and a scoop of ice cream. We chose the 3-course menu ourselves, and it was a real treat. Everything was deliciously prepared, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended; we would love to come back again!
