27/09/2026: We came for lunch today. After paying, we were told that ice cream wasn't available that day. Then we were asked what we could get instead from the pastry selection. Disappointed for our daughter, we said two donuts. We were served only one. So I have two problems. The first is ordering and paying for something we only learned about after we'd already paid. The second, and more serious because it has a name, is replacing it with something of lesser value than what we paid for, even though the customer is the one who actually paid. You replace one, not two, because it exceeds the value, but you don't mind replacing it with something of lesser value than what the customer paid for! That has a name, I'll let you guess. To top it off, the book and the drinkable yogurt weren't there, so we gave up and left without getting them, and there were no napkins. As for table service, how many times do you have to get up to get what you're owed, and leave without having received the full value of your order?
