28/08/2026: Le Sultan, a Le Havre institution since 1999.
For over 24 years I've been going to this kebab shop (among others), and it's always the same flavor, the same pleasure, the same atmosphere. A team and a system that allows for fast service even during the busiest times, the same recipe, always top-notch.
To be around for over 27 years is incredible! The quality is always there, the quantity is always there.
So yes, no homemade fries, other kebab shops have evolved, but Le Sultan remains one of the best.
I had left the area for 7 years. Coming back to Le Sultan last night, I rediscovered the flavor of yesteryear.

13/06/2026: Ordered last night via Uber Eats: very disappointed. Half of it was missing: we ordered the €21 Golden Menu but didn't get the glass and one burger was missing.
I don't recommend it: it's expensive for what we got.
11/06/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Montivilliers.
I went to place an order to eat in at 7:50 pm. After waiting 20 minutes without any news about my order, I went to the counter to check if something had been forgotten.
An employee then brought me a tray containing four drinks that I had never ordered. I pointed out the mistake and asked him about my order. After taking my receipt, he simply told me they had forgotten about me, without offering any apology.
The situation worsened when the manager came to see me. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, she adopted an accusatory tone, claiming she had to check the security cameras to make sure I hadn't already received my order. I felt like I was being blamed when all I was doing was asking for an explanation after a long wait.
After checking, she finally realized that I had indeed never been served. My tray was then brought to me without any apology, without a word of courtesy, and with an attitude I found particularly unpleasant.
Mistakes can happen, but the lack of professionalism, the complete absence of an apology, and the way I was treated are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by this experience and I do not recommend this establishment.
