03/05/2026: This is our second visit. Fresh ingredients, refined and delicious cuisine. I especially love the desserts, which are light, fresh, and perfectly sweet. The servers are very friendly. We will definitely be back, even though it's a 45-minute drive!

06/04/2026: A very pleasant experience from start to finish; we had a great time. The welcome and service were excellent: the staff were smiling and professional, and the organization was good. The food was very good, with both classic and more unusual options, including the daily specials. The atmosphere was pleasant. We chose this restaurant based on Google reviews, partly because it wasn't on the quayside, away from the tourist crowds, and also because it was outside of peak season. I thought that at this time of year the restaurant would be more frequented by locals, who know their stuff, and indeed, that seemed to be the case on Easter Sunday (April 5, 2026), with many large families at the tables. In conclusion, we will gladly return.

05/04/2026: The service was a disgrace. We waited over an hour to be served and only got our drinks. We left without even getting our order taken. I can't comment on the food because we weren't even able to order it. Two tables of French people who arrived later than us had better luck... I'll leave it at that...

11/05/2026: After our performance at Le Havre beach, our Gospel Together choir headed to THE ARCHITECT, and what a wonderful discovery it was! The food was as beautiful as it was generous, the staff was fantastic, smiling and attentive—yes, there were 47 of us arriving!—in short, a warm and welcoming atmosphere! And of course, Gospel Together couldn't possibly finish the meal without singing; the restaurant was treated to a mini-concert in a joyful atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team at THE ARCHITECT, and see you very soon!

17/06/2026: We had made a dinner reservation as a precaution, but it may not have been necessary as it was not yet high season. Walk-ins were welcome. The menu has many options to choose from. We used Google Translate to decipher the menu. Like many bistros, they had a set menu of entree and plat (appetizer and main dish) or plat and dessert (main dish and dessert). My daughter and I recommend the Duck L'orange. My son enjoyed his burger with camembert sauce and my husband's steak was nicely prepared, though it was more medium than medium -rare. Service was warm and attentive and the meals were well-priced. We had a train to catch and they were considerate in ensuring we could enjoy our meal with time to make our way over to the train station. After exploring the sights, dining here was a wonderful way to end our visit to Rouen!

27/04/2026: We came for coffee, orange juice, and hot chocolate. We received a very warm welcome, and the interior was cozy. The menu looked tempting, even though we didn't eat there.

01/06/2026: I came with my mother to share some ice cream for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant moment was severely marred by the attitude of a brunette waitress who worked there on Saturday around 2-3 pm. Her behavior was particularly abrupt and cold throughout the entire service. The most shocking thing was that she called us "the beggars," a completely inappropriate and disrespectful remark towards customers. This experience unfortunately spoiled part of our day. Fortunately, the rest of the weekend, especially with the LHUT Trail, allowed us to end on a more positive note. As a resident of the neighborhood, I find this situation very concerning. I especially felt that this young employee hadn't received the necessary training or supervision to welcome customers professionally and respectfully. I hope that management will try to understand what happened without minimizing the customers' feelings. This needs to be shared with as many people as possible….

25/05/2026: Hello I'm writing to leave a review because we stayed at the hotel on May 22, 2026, for two nights, but we were very disappointed. The rooms were dirty, with cobwebs and seagull droppings all over the windows. We were on the 4th floor, so the cleaning staff had access to clean a yellow stain on the headboard, and the price of €410 for two nights shouldn't even be that high. There was also a major problem with the key. Every time we wanted to get into our room, we had to go through reception, not to mention the time a gentleman had to come and bring us a new key. We paid extra for a better view, but instead, we weren't even placed in the center of the hotel; we were put at the far end, so we were practically at the end of the sea. Very disappointed. Avoid this hotel; it's far too expensive for the quality.
