17/02/2026: A fantastic on-road restaurant with great value food. This isn't a gastro stop but it's well made home style food and offers amazing value. They do one fixed 'menu' over lunch - which suited us perfectly (sometimes it's nice to have choice removed). Our waitress spoke three languages and was SUPER lovely - service was great. Cheeseboard was an amazing part of the menu. Brilliant value and we would return again if we pass by, for sure! Also, they said we could stay in the car park overnight if we had lunch, in our motorhome/camping car, if we needed to and there was plenty of space and rubbish bins (it's used by trucks). We might do that next time!

A warm tuna tartare appetizer.
An absolutely inedible venison stew, and an apricot tart of the same caliber.
Frankly, I think they've changed chefs, judging by the reviews.
Cooking is a profession.

25/02/2026: In the past, I often stopped at the cafeteria in this rest area and had never been disappointed. Today, however, that changed. The price was high for a meal of mediocre quality and only passable quantity. The sausage and aligot, while good, didn't reflect the true flavor of Aveyron sausages. The grilled sausage was the same as the one served with the aligot... the flan was good, and the raspberry tart was average. We ordered rosé, which was also unremarkable; we would have preferred red wine, but it was Merlot, and we don't like it. A cafeteria meal that has become expensive and disappointing. The coffee token I had before Covid worked perfectly, though. 😉

05/10/2024: Very friendly owner who introduced me to some dishes of Egyptian cuisine. Homemade food with fresh produce. I recommend the Egyptian feta sandwich. Excellent !
