05/12/2025: Your restaurant is good. It's a shame the website says it's open when it's almost never open except for a few days, and even then it's rare. They just need to change the area where it says it's open. On the internet, they should say it's closed.
15/11/2025: From the very first minute, we felt incredibly comfortable here. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and efficient. You truly feel welcome and valued as a guest. But most importantly: the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a variety of Italian specialties, and everything—from the appetizers to the pizza and pasta—was freshly prepared and of outstanding quality. A true Italian culinary delight that leaves you wanting more. In short: "Il Giardino" is the perfect combination of authentically good food and wonderfully friendly service. If you're in Lège-Cap-Ferret and craving Italian cuisine, you absolutely must eat here! Highly recommended and a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars! 🇮🇹💖

25/10/2025: A real scandal! Arriving at 9:40 p.m., we were refused entry even though closing time was clearly indicated at 10:00 p.m. Only 2 rooms with 4 tables occupied, so far from full! And the "server," if you can call him that, didn't even say hello—just a sign of the cross with his hands to say "no," as if we were disturbing him. Contemptuous behavior, zero sense of service, no politeness. When you work in the restaurant business, the basis is respect for the customer. Well, here, there is none. Move on, this kind of place is not worth spending a cent on.
25/10/2025: Shameful welcome. Arriving at 9:35 p.m., we were refused entry even though closing time is posted at 10:00 p.m. and only three tables were occupied. The server, clearly in a hurry to get things over with, didn't even say hello and simply made the sign of the cross with his hands to indicate "no." A disrespectful and impolite attitude, unworthy of an establishment that claims to welcome customers. A real lack of professionalism - to be avoided at all costs.

12/01/2026: Perfect! I arrived at 9:00 PM and they were still accepting customers. The service was quick and the staff attentive. The meat was delicious, the fries were scrumptious, and the salad was dressed just right. I'll be back!

11/11/2025: Unbelievable! You say hello, no response. After 20 minutes, you ask the gentleman if he'll be much longer—very rude. He replies, "I'm working. If it's not convenient, go somewhere else." I tell him, "Sir, you don't have to open the door if you don't want to serve." He replies, "I'm not here to do nothing, sir. You need to be respectful to elderly people. I'm 70 years old. If you can't manage your temper and your orders, you should hire someone." Very rude.

01/04/2026: I came for takeout, and was initially greeted by a waiter with a deep but professional voice. After much discussion about what was available for takeout, I finally decided what to order. Meanwhile, a woman, presumably the manager, intervened and wanted to start the whole process over. This resulted in a flurry of activity: she wanted to know, I wanted to explain, and the bartender wanted to emphasize that everything was fine. I placed my order, was told to expect a 20-minute wait, ordered a beer, and tried to find a table while I waited. The manager reminded me that I couldn't sit there as it was reserved for customers. Apparently, I'm not a customer in her eyes. She directed me to a high table near the entrance, a spot usually reserved for the security guard or the waiter, located between the kitchen and the entrance—a perfect spot for someone who wants to feel excluded. I told the waiter I'd prefer to sit somewhere else because I wasn't comfortable in that place, and he agreed. So I sat down at another table next to the bar. No sooner had I sat down than the same manager came running up to tell me it wasn't possible. It has to be said, the restaurant was full; out of roughly 220 seats, there were only 5 customers! I told her that her colleague was fine with me sitting there, and I heard her whisper to him and the other waitress that we shouldn't do that. Apparently, she thinks she knows everything about how hospitality should be managed (that's sarcasm, in case she takes it literally). Some people's life goal is to go to the moon, while others' is to show they're in charge. "A chef is made for a chef," Chirac said. My beer arrived two minutes later, two-thirds beer and one-third foam. I think the waitress is still getting the hang of things. Five minutes later, the order was ready. A ten-minute wait instead of the promised twenty minutes—tough luck, I had to finish my beer as quickly as possible. The waiter, in a hurried tone, like someone who didn't really want to talk, told me the bill: 44 euros. I paid! And I took my order, happy to escape this atmosphere that made me feel unwelcome. Back home, no luck, no cutlery, no napkins, and I was told to eat with my hands. A return to basics, some might say. The price you pay for poor service, I'd say. Luckily, the food was good, which made me realize that at least the chef wasn't judging. A little advice for this suburban restaurant owner (related to the restaurant's location, of course 🤨): Focus on the quality of service rather than judging customers based on appearance. Otherwise, become a bouncer in a nightclub. There are other ways to boost your self-esteem than using others to soothe your neuroses. (To whom it may concern!)

06/11/2024: Bonjour alors contrairement aux commentaires que j'ai pu voir où il n'y avait pas de salade d'accueil nous on l'a eu directement avant même de nous proposer un apéritif ou un pichet d'eau. On avait commandé des tapas qu'ils ont oublié, viande pas du tout assez cuite (bleu alors que j'avais demandé à point) aue j'ai donc renvoyé et qui est revenu carbonisé. Je met les points pour le serveur qui était très sympathique et compréhensible. J'y retournerai me faire un deuxième opinion.
11/10/2024: En déplacement pour raison professionnelle j'ai dîné trois soirs de suite dans ce restaurant et tout c'est très bien passé. Personnels pro et aimable, plats bons et plus que suffisants en quantité. Apparemment c'est une nouvelle équipe au manettes et elle a redressé la barre.

01/09/2024: Ce Buffalo est à éviter contrairement à ceux des autres régions. accueil sans sourire , limite si on dérange, on attends un moment alors que la demoiselle est occupée avec son portable. elle nous place, un serveur arrive qui manque de motivation et d'enthousiasme....les beignets d'oignons sont trop cuits ou réduits, le hamburger frites est bien meilleur au Mac do qu'ici: frites molles, et je penses replongees plusieurs fois dans la bain d'huile, la viande est correct, les sauce amenée dans un petit ramequin sont je penses prête depuis un certain temps car il y a comme une peau sur le dessous...le dessert n'a rien à voir en quantité avec les autres Buffalo....nous sommes très très déçu !!!! les gens à côté de nous étaient aussi très déçu.....beaucoup de mal à digérer le soir ....si vous voulez passée une soirée sympa n'y allez pas.

03/11/2024: We went to eat this afternoon with my partner and my child. The box costs 18€ with 3 pieces of chicken, 6 new potatoes and a little salad really??? But the worst, my 3 year old child wanted an ice cream... an artisan is 100 m from the While my partner finishes his meal we go get this ice cream. The business sells store-bought ice cream, I preferred quality for my child and well guess what... the manager fired us while we were having lunch at her place and my partner hadn't finished the ice cream for my 3 year old child!!! ! In short, superb welcome!!!!
