24/04/2026: The service was excellent and the atmosphere truly charming. As for the food, the dishes were very tasty and excellent value for money. The highlight was undoubtedly the dessert: a real treat, everything is homemade by the pastry chef. If you're in the area, this is an address you absolutely must visit!

02/05/2026: Very disappointed with the welcome; no smiles, no greeting whatsoever. Overall, the food was okay, but the cooking was so-so. There was a long wait between courses, especially considering the number of groups present. What redeemed everything was the presence of a woman named Élodie. She was the only one who managed to be friendly and attentive to us in a team where smiles were nowhere to be found. She even asked to have the meat recooked herself because she saw that it wasn't cooked rare and that I couldn't eat it properly. She did a fantastic job; her professionalism deeply touched us. Well done, Élodie, and thank you for your work.

07/10/2025: We came here by chance on Sunday. We were looking for a restaurant in Salbris. What a joy to walk through the door. We were afraid we'd stumble upon a cliché of the competitor with the big horns. Not so! The fire in the middle of the room brings a warm, welcoming atmosphere to our grandparents' home. Cooking right before our eyes over a wood fire is a real plus. The quality of the products is indisputable, whether it's the traditional andouillettes, Troyes sausages, traditional sausages, or braised ham. A real treat. The sweet touch of the meal is not the least. The coulant, ile flottante, and baba, not to mention the exquisitely flavored traditional ice creams, will leave you speechless. The welcome is very pleasant. The managers are very friendly and don't hesitate to chat 😉. You've found new loyal customers when we return to Salbris. See you soon
