29/10/2025: It was pouring down with rain so we ran in for shelter and ended up eating. The steak was really tasty and well cooked along with the ‘sausage and mash’ ! Thank you for the shelter and a surprisingly good meal ❤️🥰

06/12/2025: I have rarely had such a disappointing experience in a restaurant. I ordered their pizza, which was advertised as their specialty, and after a 30-minute wait, the unfriendly waiter came back to tell me my pizza was burnt. Even worse, he explained that they were out of dough and that I would have to choose another dish… Frankly, this is unacceptable for an establishment that claims to know what it's doing. Between the wait, the lack of professionalism, and the complete absence of any attempt at compensation, I absolutely do not recommend this place.
24/11/2025: Excellent. I recommend the Plancha Royale. Very welcoming and friendly service.

24/09/2024: We were a group of 30 people who had reservations in June On the first floor: outdated furniture tables without tablecloths As for the menu: fish soup to which a lot of water was added Fish foil defrosted without taste in small portions medium chocolate dessert Trap for groups and tourists Not recommended
21/09/2024: Well for us, very good evening. Simple and pleasant service. We enjoy the fried squid with garlic and the Provençal stew with beef cheek, all on a lively terrace in a friendly alley!

08/07/2025: A little disappointed with our restaurant experience. The food was rather disappointing because the quality wasn't up to scratch. The burger was very classic, the fries were industrial, and the gnocchi were not very refined. Furthermore, we were really disappointed by the staff, who were very unwelcoming. The value for money is disappointing.
03/07/2025: I expected nothing but I'm still disappointed, we'll start with the wine, a white nothing special without any flavor they don't even present us with the bottle during service and even worse the waiter serves us the glasses on the fly he barely gives us a glance (it's not as if there were people to serve in addition) for my beef tartare it lacks seasoning oxidized meat moreover given the speed of service and the pieces of meat I strongly doubt that it is made with a knife with that a salad without sauce just placed on the plate and fries from the freezer we left having just the impression of having paid for the setting of the port, I strongly advise against it you are taken for a walking wallet

26/09/2024: Terrible service and attitude of a young brunette that works here. Food was average especially for the price and location.
Had to ask for our plates to be cleared, had to ask 3 times for a dessert menu, asked 3 times for the bill. The third time we asked a young boy, he said he’d get it bit we saw him going home 5 minutes after.
When my partner went inside to again ask to pay, he was shouted at by the young brunette as if he was being rude. We were waiting for half a hour since the first time we asked for the bill. I understand she must have been stressed being by herself with a busy restaurant, thats on the managers but her attitude towards us really did stink as well.
So many other restaurants with better food and service around the place so would avoid this one.

However, the dishes were quite good.

Ps: we weren't the ones who grabbed the waitress's arm for a glass of wine

08/09/2024: I don't think there is a single non-frozen ingredient in this restaurant, maybe the green salad. But that's not the worst, because in a pinch there can be good frozen ones. But as soon as we sat down we should have been wary. Very sticky tables, not cleaned, the tables next to us, not cleared, serving as food for the pigeons. We were under a tarpaulin which was also difficult to see. If you want salt and pepper you will have to move. Some of the orders forgotten or not the correct ones. On the other hand, the friendly service. But like a large majority of restaurants in Cassis, they won't need to make any effort since there are always people.

09/09/2024: Le stand de glace aux multiples goûts est idéal pour se régaler tout en marchant dans les petites ruelles de Cassis. Le prix est selon moi un peu élevée pour des glaces mais cela reste correct.

28/12/2023: J'ai mangé dans ce restaurant et j'ai commandé moules frites. Les moules étaient caoutchouteuses, la ''sauce'' n'avait aucun goût ( c'était comme de l'eau ) je ne les ai donc pas mangées.
26/12/2023: Un posto veramente carino,soleggiato e a bordo porto.
Abbiamo mangiato eccellentemente e neanche troppo caro.
Il servizio molto cortese e gentile.
Consiglio vivamente.

We wanted to have a simple coffee at 6 a.m., and despite customers already seated on the terrace (obviously regulars), we were curtly refused without any politeness. The owner didn't even say hello, brushing us off as if we were bothering him. No consideration for passing visitors.
Deplorable welcome — I do not recommend this establishment at all.
16/05/2025: No consideration for the customer, haughty and contemptuous waiters! Unfortunately, this is detrimental to the image of such a beautiful village!

Moules marinières que par le nom , sauce oseille qui ne s accorde pas du tout au lieu de vin blanc .

19/11/2024: If you are a tourist in the derogatory sense this is a good address for the location. Bull stew you will have to settle for samples of meat and two large potatoes...the bouillabaisse is good. Times are tough, especially the price. (Pleasant but long service) and bright sunshine.

23/09/2024: Wenn Sie in Fett triefende komplett datschige Calmars im Beignet-Teig lieben, sind sie hier richtig. Wenn sich danach eine Sole Meuniere erwarten und stattdessen ein Ministück Fisch, das mit viel Brandteig (Beignet-Teig scheint in der Küche in ausreichender Menge vorhanden zu sein...) aufgeblasen und danach ebenfalls in der Triteuse ertränkt wurde, serviert bekommen möchten, sind Sie hier richtig. Und wenn Sie dann zwischen diesen zwei Tellern mit fettiger Pampe aus für uns immer noch ungeklärten Gründen auch noch ihren Tisch aufgeben müssen, um anderen Gästen Platz zu machen, dann sind sie hier richtig. Und wenn sie dann noch insgesamt 70 Minuten auf diese kulinarische Körperverletzung inklusive Tütensalat nebst Fertigsauce warten müssen, sind Sie endlich angekommen: Im schlechtesten Restaurant, an das ich mich in den letzten 20 Jahren erinnern kann. Die Fotos jedenfalls stammen wohl aus besseren Tagen, mit der aktuellen Realität hat das nichts zu tun.
