05/09/2026: An elderly, extremely rude and unpleasant waitress with dark skin and a slender build completely ruined our experience and our trip. To preserve your travel experience, if you are a foreigner, I recommend avoiding her. I wonder what problems she could possibly have in her life to behave this way. She doesn't hesitate to harass customers, especially those who speak a foreign language, with a mocking tone and a contemptuous attitude. She simply doesn't seem like the right person to work with the public.

04/09/2026: It's simple: we ordered four dishes and left all four—they were inedible. The bouillabaisse was a small mess with fish mud at the bottom, the gravlax was just raw, uncooked salmon, and so on. All this after a 1.5-hour wait for a reservation that was forced upon us at 7:00 PM ("7:15 PM max," we were rather unpleasantly informed on the phone). In short, avoid this place.

30/06/2026: Been stayed in this hotel for twice in the past two years, great please to stay! Nice room with AC; very friendly staff; good seafood restaurants and beautiful Cassis wines! It over looks the port, so you get the great view of sun-rise, sun-set and evening light-show on the cliff

24/09/2026: Visiting Cassis as a family this summer, we had trouble choosing a restaurant, as the prices at some were way out of our budget. Le Mistral seemed like a good compromise... We ate well, and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant. There were five of us, and one of the dishes was forgotten, so our daughter got hers when the four of us had almost finished. The manager immediately offered to pay for our soft drinks, which I thought was very kind and professional. Even so, I wasn't expecting the bill when it came time to pay, especially without the four soft drinks. For five of us (3 burgers, 2 pizzas, 4 desserts, and a beer), it came to €165... That's an average of €33 per person without drinks for a typical restaurant... (for example, the bacon burger, you can see the 2020 price on their Facebook page; it was €16.90 then, it's now €22.90). You're definitely paying for eating on the Port of Cassis... But I really want to emphasize how friendly the team is!

26/09/2026: A disaster. Food poisoning. Two out of four people were sick for a week. Shameful. The waitress didn't even know what to say when we asked if the fries were fresh. Avoid at all costs.

22/09/2026: 2 stars for the staff's friendliness. The food is a joke!! The pasta with parmesan is just plain boiled pasta thrown onto the plate with a measly ladleful of what looked like sauce (it was just heavy cream). See photo. The pizza? Simply frozen, topped with a deluge of olive oil and arugula, without any thought for how it would taste (inedible). For the price paid, they seriously need to rethink their approach and at least put some effort into their dishes.

21/09/2026: Perfect location with a bit of fresh air and shade. The food is very good. Only downside: don't be in a hurry.

31/08/2026: Passing through Cassis, I really wanted to eat at your restaurant, remembering three years ago when you pampered and spoiled me, being diabetic. That wonderful grapefruit dessert and your incredible kindness, from the chef to the owner to the waitress. When I read the comments, I thought people are being mean. Enjoy life, enjoy the moment. It's unbearably hot, stop making a fuss, enjoy... See you soon, sir, the very kind owner. And thank you again. Have a good end of the season.

29/05/2026: Excellent Peruvian cuisine in a pleasant setting. The restaurant is small, but warm and welcoming. We ate on the terrace, which was very pleasant, especially in the summer. As for the food, it was a very good experience: I had the grilled octopus, which was truly excellent, perfectly cooked, generous, and flavorful. The other people at the table ordered meat dishes, and the entire meal was enjoyed. The dessert, particularly the tres leches, was also very good. The only slightly negative point concerns the service. The waitress wasn't unpleasant, but we found her rather apathetic and uninvolved, especially when we asked questions about certain dishes or drinks. It's a shame, as it contrasts somewhat with the quality of the food. In short, a place I would gladly return to, especially for the food. The service simply could be a little warmer and more attentive.

27/05/2026: First visit and not disappointed. I really enjoyed the violet syrup cocktail, and the fried mix was very good.

11/09/2026: We received a wonderful welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the squid and octopus, which were both perfectly cooked. The panisses were also delicious. With our coffee, they served us navettes and meringues – a thoughtful touch rarely found.

26/08/2026: "CONTINUOUS SERVICE" is clearly displayed. We come to eat and are brushed off with a "there's no continuous service, we just don't want to." In the middle of tourist season, on the port of Cassis, to have such contempt for customers is quite something. If you're too lazy to work, change your hours or even your profession. Friendliness: zero. Respect: zero. Professionalism: zero. A disgrace for a tourist establishment. Avoid this place.

24/09/2026: Brasserie-style cuisine, unoriginal but of good quality compared to other restaurants in Cassis we tried. Friendly service. Pleasant and quiet setting. Excellent value for money.

15/09/2026: I came here to eat mussels and fries, and it was a disaster! The mussels weren't cleaned properly and were full of seaweed! I recommend not eating mussels and fries!

01/10/2026: Very nice view of the sea. Perfect white fish with the fish and chips and only for 16€. I've never eaten such a tasty one.

28/09/2026: Arriving in Cassis on an empty stomach, we stopped for breakfast. We opted for the €10 set menu. Admittedly simple and a bit pricey, but the portions were generous and the service impeccable, with a friendly and professional waiter. So it was worth the cost. I recommend it.

05/09/2026: I hesitated for a long time before ordering a kebab because you can't see the spit... Unsurprisingly, the meat was disgusting, rubbery, with holes... is it even meat? After two bites, my stomach already hurt. There were more (frozen) fries than filling; I threw everything in the bin, €9 wasted. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

04/09/2026: Good place to grab a quick bite. There's no seating. Considering the prices in Cassis, it's an affordable place where you can get tasty and generous portions. The staff is very fast and attentive. Highly recommended!

30/09/2026: Yuck! From the appetizer to the dessert! Even the beer served in a normal glass costs 4.5 euros! Only the waiters are friendly!

23/09/2026: We went to eat mussels and fries, and frankly, it wasn't food at all. The mussels were swimming in water with tasteless onions. Avoid this restaurant! 50 euros for that. Tourist trap!

19/09/2026: Initially, we were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but we finally decided to try the restaurant… and what a pleasant surprise! We received a very warm welcome from the owner. The servers were also very welcoming and friendly. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it: everything was delicious and flavorful. Honestly, it was a wonderful discovery, and we're so glad we finally took the plunge. We highly recommend this restaurant!
