03/04/2026: We had a great lunch here during our visit in Cassis. Everything was fresh and even though the server did not speak full english, Yohann was super friendly and we were able to communicate perfectly. He even went out of his way to get us hats since the sun was blasting our head/eyes. Our food and drinks came quickly and everything we tried was delicious. 10/10 recommendation.

24/12/2025: Amazing platters!! The gentleman kindly waited for us after the fish shop closed so we could pick up our platter for Christmas. Thank you 🤩

14/03/2026: Fantastic restaurant! We came as a couple and had a wonderful meal! Jean Paul and Denis are very friendly and funny. Besides the delicious dinner, we had a great laugh. In short, I highly recommend it if you want to have a great evening!

23/04/2026: I came for lunch with my family and ordered pasta with clams, clearly specifying that I wanted it al dente. The waiter assured me, without hesitation, that this would be respected. However, upon arrival, the pasta was visibly overcooked, and this was confirmed from the first bite. So I didn't eat my entire plate, except for the clams. But the most shocking thing was the service: no one seemed to care that my plate was practically full. No questions, no comments, no gesture of goodwill. Nothing. This is all the more incomprehensible since, 30 minutes earlier, I had been guaranteed to have my food cooked to perfection. If I didn't eat my dish, there must be a reason—they should have at least bothered to find out. Terrible service and a complete lack of consideration for the customer. Very disappointing.

21/04/2026: A truly wonderful experience! 🌞 The food is absolutely delicious, with flavorful dishes and incredibly tasty ice cream 🍨 The setting is a real bonus, right by the sea. And let's not forget the staff, who are incredibly kind, always welcoming and attentive… I highly recommend this place.

You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

05/04/2026: Really disappointed... very pretty setting, but that's all. We arrived, we ordered... 3 minutes later the food arrived! Even McDonald's takes longer. Supposedly fresh salmon tart with cold frozen fries, of course... inedible salmon Caesar salad. The waitress was friendly at first, but from the moment we asked her to change these disgusting dishes, she got upset and was very rude (complaining about us to the other customers, to her colleagues... *sigh* inappropriate remark) without even trying to hide it. Absolutely no professionalism... Frankly pathetic. Luckily we have some basic manners because this is the kind of situation that deserved a good warning sign in front of their three customers on the terrace.

27/03/2026: What can I say about a restaurant where you can't hear yourself speak? Everyone's shouting and yelling. The pizzas were okay, but the dessert was terrible. Not a great restaurant at all.

26/03/2026: We were seated immediately and offered pickled chickpeas and a bottle of water while we perused the menu. We opted for pasta and pizza, both of which were delicious. Despite the restaurant being full, it was pleasantly quiet, and we could easily converse while listening to soft lounge music. Friendly service, tasty food, and fair prices. We'd gladly return.

If there's one place you absolutely must visit in Cassis to soak up the Provençal way of life, it's Bar de la Fontaine. Ideally located on Place Baragnon, it's the perfect escape from the immediate hustle and bustle of the port, while still remaining at the heart of the action. We loved the authentic atmosphere: you immediately feel at home. It's a meeting place for locals and travelers alike, where laughter mingles with the gentle sound of the fountain. Top-notch service, a dynamic, smiling, and very efficient team, even when the terrace is packed. You can feel the genuine conviviality! The ideal spot, whether for a morning coffee in the sun or an aperitif with friends at the end of the day, the terrace is a little slice of shaded paradise. Value for money: Very reasonable for such a prime location in the heart of the village. In short, a warm welcome, a charming setting, and an energy that makes you want to stay for hours watching life go by. A huge thank you to Léo and his entire team, don't change a thing!

09/04/2026: A pleasant place with a lovely view of the boats in the harbor. The service is quick. I had calamari, which was excellent, served with delicious matchstick fries and tomato salad. I highly recommend it.
