the products are of quality and mastered with passion and finesse all in a very pleasant cozy atmosphere
My children go there very often for my part it was the first time but I will return there willingly and with pleasure

04/09/2024: Delicious Italian food restaurant. We came from Valencia and the waiter was very friendly when it came to serving us. We ordered a Vincent pizza and some truffle penne; Both dishes were a real delight, the pizza a little spicy. And to drink we made a small mistake and asked for a large bottle of water, and they brought us sparkling water. Our mistake, since we have realized that sparkling water is common here. Detail to take into account if you want tap water. Nice decoration and cozy atmosphere. Average price €20 per plate. We recommend.

We come as regularly as possible.
No more systematic fries as an accompaniment: here we have vegetables, fried potatoes, vegetable flans, etc.
Restaurateurs who work seriously and respect customers.
Yes it still exists!
03/09/2024: Went there on a 50% off deal from The Fork. Incredible food, I had the lentil and prawn salad for stater and the duck for main and I would recommend both. The owner is very sweet and a great waitress. The atmosphere is perfect - couldn't recommend this place enough.

15/08/2024: Honestly, I stopped by chance to get takeout, and Wow, what a nice surprise when it was time to eat! Everything was fresh, homemade... the humus had a little extra twist (powdered coriander?), the vine leaves from another world, impeccable eggplant caviar. Fan of Lebanese cuisine, you are in my top 3 in Marseille! (and I had to try almost everything…) In addition, 15th for 6 mezzes is very honest, excellent value for money. Special mention to the super nice server. Honestly, nothing to complain about, just see you soon, glad to have found you!

The salad was fresh and the fries were homemade. Too bad for the floating island, a little too sweet for us but still very good

07/10/2024: You can get really tasty burgers in France but not at Le Panier.
After travelling in the country for over a month and frequently eating burgers in many brasseries, the Le Chef burger I had at Le Panier was one of the worst!
Everything was greasy and tasteless. I asked for it to be "a point", but the meat was so overcooked as to be as thin as the plate! The bread was 90% of the burger! I was hopeful for the frites but they too were drenched in grease!
Too bad....Le Panier was in a rush to push out orders without the quality control.
Definitely not worth €22; go to a taco shop instead.
NOT recommended!

02/09/2024: What a disappointment!
We had come to the Massimo bastide several times. We enjoyed the setting and the cuisine.
But there... What a waste to have such a pretty restaurant and offer so little...
The menu has always been the same for years and the slate always offers the same dishes. The problem is that we see the flagrant decline in the quality and quantities offered. Difficult to maintain a good level.
Masking the reduction in portions by adding a salad cut into strips and not seasoned is special. The salad was in our 4 different main courses, no consistency. No plating at €28/30 per dish. Tasteless dishes elsewhere. The accompanying risottos were dry, more like simple rice. The octopus was uninteresting, the fish bland. And what about this salad as a second side dish? Long wait between courses.
Desserts also see reductions. The frozen flute was not accompanied by the usual limocello.
No digestive offered at our table with the bill like the other times.
Savings.. savings..
The staff is not professional staff. We had 3 different people. No hello, no smile. The bottle of wine brought and left on the table "I'll come back and give you a taste", we never saw it again. The cutlery that falls while clearing, the plates literally thrown on the table. We thought we were in a hidden camera...
The boss was totally overwhelmed in his own restaurant.
A very expensive note for a poor performance. An average of €70 per head. It's absolutely not worth it.
The framework is not everything.
Move on, the Massimo bastide has lost its charm.
