05/09/2024: Very pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the service and the Sunday meal and the presentation of the dishes (in the middle of a golf competition) where the starter, main course and dessert was 25 euros, without forgetting the young woman advising me on my taste in terms of wine, I was served a glass of Pessac Léognan served chilled, a real treat, everything was excellent. I would come back without hesitation.

18/09/2024: Insanely expensive and I doubt anywhere else in Périgueux would fleece you like this. We hadn’t looked at the prices when we ordered our cognacs. That was our mistake. They were tiny and not even VSOP, but we were charged €29 for two. For this, together with a very indifferent apple tarte, we were billed almost €40. Contrast that with the dinner we’d had just before at Chez Fred. Champagne, beer, glass of white wine, jug of excellent red wine, superb steak Rossini, enormous beautifully cooked hake and a complimentary starter of pork for €88. No wonder place was almost empty. Lesson Learnt. Never again. Avoid.

15/09/2024: Venue boire un verre et manger un bout avec des amis, la serveuse du nom de safia lançait des regards menaçants car elle connaissait une de mes amies. De plus un mojito sans menthe et sans paille… service à revoir

27/08/2024: What charm this old post house has! Very pretty park where it is nice to relax by the swimming pool or have breakfast, close access to the river completes this idyllic setting.

20/08/2024: Very nice hotel, quiet environment, small room and bathroom. Welcoming staff, good breakfast. It’s a shame that the swimming pool is only accessible from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and that breakfast is only served at 8 or 9 a.m.
