19/09/2024: Απορώ με τις τόσο καλες κριτικές για το φαγητό. Πολύ μέτριο και τίποτε το ιδιαίτερο. Με τα ίδια χρήματα τρως σε πολύ καλύτερα εστιατόρια στο Μπορντό.
18/09/2024: Nordistes d origine, quand on vient a Bordeaux, on adore venir chez Dupont dont l équipe fait systématiquement une prestation de très grande qualité.
Dupont devrait être remboursé par la sécurité sociale tellement ça fait du bien.

28/08/2024: Wow, what a delightful evening!
Walking from our apartment through what initially seemed like deserted streets we entered into a lively vibrant square filled with people having a great time.
Our service was wonderful as was the food. Every aspect of the food was a revelation in style and it was impeccably prepared. The wine was of course fabulous.
We ended up having great conversation with the family on the next table.
Genuinely fantastic and memorable, thank you.
23/08/2024: I wondered why the streets were empty, then we turned the corner and found everyone in the square by the Halle des Chartrons. Felt very much to be locals rather than tourists which was great. The food was delicious, different and beautifully presented, the service efficient and friendly.

04/09/2024: Halte habituelle sur notre trajet en Nantes et Toulouse, nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant lors de nos passages.
Le concept du service en une seule fois nous convient très bien et nous permet de manger rapidement. Les serveuses sont très à l’écoute et viennent régulièrement voir les clients pour voir si tout se passe bien.
Les plats proposés sont bien cuisinés et goûteux. Je recommande ce restaurant.
23/08/2024: Lunch on the terrace which is pleasant. The big problem is the “concept” of starter, main course and dessert served at the same time on the same plate. Never seen before! Result: you have to eat the dish first otherwise it is cold. What's more, red meat... then the starter then the dessert which is hot when it's a panacotta! It's more about cooking. We wondered if it was a staff problem... in any case we won't be back.

01/09/2024: On ne compte même plus le nombre de fois où l'on y va, tellement on apprécie ce restaurant !
L'équipe est hyper accueillante et chaleureuse, la salle est cosy, les plats sont beaux, bons et originaux avec des produits de qualité.
Que demander de plus ?
Vous avez même un rehausseur ou chaise haute à disposition pour bebe/enfant!

26/08/2024: Tasty food but too generous. After the appetizers and the starter, our stomachs were already full!
Our only regret: We based ourselves on the menu seen on the internet to choose this restaurant, and once there, the dishes were different and not necessarily to our taste.
Good experience nonetheless, you can feel the passion of the cook through his dishes.
29/07/2024: Slightly disappointed when we compare, cold atmosphere, very long service...restaurant which aims to be gastronomic, dishes without flavor and originality...no explanation of the different dishes...desserts too copious compared to the rest, lack of balance and moderation ...just a special mention to the attentive waiter who came to help that evening...a shame...☹

L'accueil et le service soignés.
Un peu déçu par la présentation des plats. Que ce soit de l'entrée ou du plat principal. Le visuel était décevant, insipide et léger.
J'étais venu avec des amis, viticulteurs en Bourgogne.
Le chef était il present..Pas sûr.
Je reviendrai cependant.

25/09/2024: L’accueil est chaleureux et la cuisine juste et goûteuse. Je me suis régalée avec le poulpe et mon mari tout autant avec le faux-filet.
Dommage que la pluie se soit invitée… La perspective depuis la terrasse qui surplombe les vignes est tout de même époustouflante.
Petit conseil : Optez pour le mille-feuille en dessert ;)

19/09/2024: While passing through we discovered this restaurant and a real pleasant surprise, a pleasant welcome, a meal consisting of the daily menus was offered to us.
As a starter, a poultry soup sprinkled with diced salmon.
As a main course, a thick slice of pork confit with carrot puree, purple carrot chips and roasted carrot.
Chocolate mousse dessert.
Simple but 3G menu
Gourmet. Generous. Gourmand .
I recommend.
And hats off to Nathan for his professionalism, availability, friendliness and smile.
18/09/2024: So just to moan a little we ate Monday evening
So the oysters gratinated with Espelette peppers were delicious but I had a salmon tartare and well there was only salmon, nothing else in it and the salmon wasn't great too bad

12/09/2024: We came for lunch. Very simple and warm welcome. Impeccable service. We were on the terrace. Extra. We chose the formulas of the day: soup, Bavarian tomatoes, 1/2 cockerel rösti salad, chocolate pear tiramisu with a Château Lamothe Mandrone 2020 then espressos. Excellent cuisine. Tasty, tasty. There is work. This excellent table is worth trying. No pretense here. Everything is authentic. We will come back. We highly recommend this beautiful establishment.
06/09/2024: Bar-brasserie which has managed to preserve all the authenticity of the place, the Café de la Poste and it's really nice to take a step back in time.
The dishes are of excellent quality with a desire for homemade, fresh local produce.
Special mention for cooking the duck breasts.
Thank you for this good moment of sharing during an unplanned stop, keep it up.

The location is great and the hotel is very quiet!

25/08/2024: The receptionist made us very welcome. Throughout our stay, she was available and always ready to help us.
The room allocated to us throughout our stay was very pleasant, clean and without nuisance.
In addition, the hotel is very well located in the heart of the seaside resort.
We recommend this hotel for everything it offered us.

Pro ✅
- Very nicely located campsite with a fantastic view of the Dune du Pilat.
- Everything is there, more details on the CP pages (small supermarket, children's playground, swimming pool). A food truck comes in the evening.
- Pitches of different sizes, also for larger mobile homes.
- Internet available throughout the complex for an extra fee.
- Excellent, newly paved paths.
- Completely rebuilt facility.
- Friendly people throughout the CP.
Cons ❌
- Unpaved plots (e.g. grass paving stones), soggy when it rains and not very usable (table/chairs)
- Garbage disposal in front of the reception, it takes forever (!) to walk away. Absolutely no go. The garbage dump is not clean.
- There are no wastebaskets or similar. on the CP.
- 1 V/E also only at the beginning of the system. Fresh water hose and rinse water hose for cassettes are disposed of right next to each other...things often get mixed up and you quickly get bacteria.
- Price/performance 37€ per day is too high!
- The burned trees appear more depressing than beautiful to look at. At some point it would have to be cut down anyway.
- No free WiFi! Untimely.
- Prices on the complex are all excessive - Unrivaled…
- You get identification wristbands when checking in. It's like all-inclusive tourism. On a CP?
- Washhouses sometimes smell like sewage.
- The CP is unlit at night.
- No paved beach access. The path is very steep and you have to find your way up through the sand. Not for older people or families with small children. It's very difficult!

..and the possibility of straightening the camper using ramps (every space is sloping/sloping) =)
I have to particularly emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone really nice.

Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. no hot drinks (according to a waitress).
So no coffee, no tea, no cappuccino.
Very strange 🤪🤯 because the “iced coffee” order is placed and the coffee is made with the percolator before it cools.
Luckily there is another drinking establishment 25 meters away. 😁🙋🏻

We order 4 cocktails with 2 boards to share which we will not share because they were never served!
Excessively expensive dish for what it is.
We waited 1 hour to be served and our dishes were lukewarm.
The butcher's piece was a common steak and fries.
At 10:30 p.m., the DJ must have thought he was in a nightclub... he turned the volume up so much that we couldn't hear each other talking.
In short, a restaurant that wants to be trendy and capitalizes on its beautiful view and beautiful decoration, but it’s just limited to that.
