The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The waitresses were very friendly and smiling. It was a pleasure.
23/07/2026: Trusting the positive reviews, I booked a table for lunch. The welcome was friendly, but a restaurant is also meant to offer good food. And the dishes on offer were quite ordinary, starting with the appetizers.
The €20 meat dish was a tiny piece of rump steak (accompanied by a few salad leaves and some fries) so tough it was impossible to eat… We were very disappointed with the experience.

We weren't notified. Very disappointed!

12/11/2025: A very warm welcome. A very good meal with classic dishes and a daily special, all for just under 14 euros. The service was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

26/12/2025: After two cancellations without apologies or discounts, we finally managed to eat at the restaurant. The dining room was poorly heated, and we were cold all evening. The meal was good, but nothing special for a Michelin-starred establishment. Other restaurants in the Gien area are worth recommending; they are less expensive, better, and offer more elaborate menus.

03/05/2026: Only the terrace was nice, the owners were unfriendly, the tartine (a type of flatbread) wasn't great, and the cleanliness was average.
I left more than half my plate and saw many unfinished plates as I left.
Bad first experience, I won't be going back. Expensive for what it is; the quality and service need improvement.
