22/09/2024: We went to discover this restaurant with 3 people thinking that it was a gourmet restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide. The setting is nice as is the room but the rest is not up to par: the wines by the glass the level of the wines being low, the vacuum was not made, the 2 Gaillac wines tasted were stale. On the menu at €58, the appetizers: shortbreads are not of the day, the starters: the perfect egg with a very spicy pepper soup is ordinary, the main course: the duck cooked at low temperature is good but the accompaniment of 3 dauphine potatoes is a little tight, a vegetable would have been welcome. As the fish on the menu was not delivered, we were offered prawns…. Dessert: the ice cream machine being broken, no ice cream for desserts...instead a fine chocolate tart, good but tiny. The other strawberry dessert is served with sugar-free cream... Frankly disappointed, we then tested the reserve in Albi which for an equal price is clearly above all points of view.
