04/04/2024: What a pleasant surprise!!! A really great evening thanks to a chef who prepared succulent sea bream and grilled sea bass. A very nice team in the room, thanks to Karim, Mathilde and young Arthur for accompanying us during this evening! We will come back for sure! Sandra and Gaëlle

04/04/2024: Pleasantly surprised by the dishes offered. From the starter (herring salads) to the main course (mussels and andouillette) as well as the nuggets for children, everything was really very good. The missing fifth star is due to mold cleaning. But I recommend+++

05/04/2024: 3 days as a couple to visit Honfleur and alongside them

05/04/2024: Hotel very well located and close to the city center and the old port of Honfleur on foot. Decent room and generous breakfast (14€) but not included in the room price of 130€, justified by its swimming pool, hammam and sauna open until 10 p.m. Too bad you have to leave the hotel to go to the Spa opposite because in bad weather it's not great. A small downside also for 2 doors which do not close at the Spa to change or go to the toilet and lack of indication to leave your shoes at the entrance or people walk in front of the showers to go to the lockers which are behind and pass or people walk barefoot. I advise you to take flip flops. Otherwise reception and bar open 24 hours, with billiards and table football, no catering for lunch or dinner but offering aperitif and cocktail boards. Overall it's a very nice hotel

23/03/2024: I was able to see Honfleur during the Mont-Saint-Michel tour, and the guide recommended steamed mussels! I went there after hearing that it was delicious on a Korean blog, and it was really delicious... I really, really recommend the steamed cream mussels. We didn't have enough time because of the tour, so we couldn't eat it all, but it was so delicious that I thought about it all day and regretted it. ! Here's a tip: Due to the nature of cooking, the cream sinks to the bottom. If you have time, I recommend peeling all the mussels, dipping them in the cream below, and scooping them up... Really... That's the real taste... The steak is rarer than expected, so Koreans prefer medium well done rather than medium rare. It looks delicious! The staff was really friendly and I was grateful for their attention while eating.🥹If the weather is warm, you can really relax by eating on the outdoor terrace!!

29/03/2024: While passing through Honfleur, we were attracted by the kindness of the waiter and the menu. We did not regret our choice, outdoor meals with heated parasol and a great view of the port. Oysters and scallops very very good, thanks to the waiter for the advice on the choice of dishes. Very friendly staff nice to meet people like that these days Very good evening for the start of the season.

10/02/2024: Small, simple restaurant where you can have lunch alongside people from the adjoining EHPAD. Friendly staff, choice limited to 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts. Good value for money

25/03/2024: Bought two baguettes (traditional and special). Very mediocre, tasteless and really indignant at the Kayser house. Decor too cold and impersonal.

21/03/2024: Catch e-coli during a weekend with friends and experience a moment of solitude? I have better: 4 friends contaminated simultaneously thanks to mini ovens and olive bread. Thank you Éric Kayser for the great deal! It brings you closer.

11/05/2024: Move on, the kitchen is filthy and the welcome with children is pitiful (you are customers and they don't heat a baby pot) but where have we ended up?? The boss seems to have a lot to do with it because the team remains friendly...

07/03/2024: A place that seems nice at first glance, located opposite the port. However, a less pleasant meal, the crepes were not transcendent, overcooked and the butter-sugar crepe was uninteresting. We had not finished consuming when the bill was already brought to us with customers impatiently waiting for us to leave. The cider was delicious.

14/10/2023: An atmosphere let's say, in hindsight. Writing, I’m not always addicted to formulas. I also had the right to the one “Follow the flies!” for the toilets. 40c more on the terrace, the walk is expensive. Well... when I got to the WC, I was already on my way back. On the road.

12/09/2023: Pure French charm, very authentic and friendly. If you arrive before 6:30 p.m., I recommend a Pression in or in front of the bar, after that the brasserie is closed. French breakfast was good (I always had cheese and ham in the cooler from camping, a must in France if you don't like sweet breakfasts), and our room was very nice. However, we had the family room on the 1st floor directly facing the square, which has its own bathroom and is spacious. We were lucky when parking, it was less than a 5 minute walk to the old town (one of the most beautiful old towns I have ever seen in my 40 years of traveling). Absolute recommendation for France fans, if you like luxury it's better to stay away.

01/04/2024: We usually have lunch at Uncle Scott's in Mondeville. We decided to have dinner on a Friday evening in Honfleur...and unfortunately nothing to see... Reception: bare minimum... The lack of experienced staff is reflected in the service which is random and the atmosphere sad... It's really a shame that the establishment's managers are not in the room in the evening to observe these rises...

24/03/2024: We arrived on a Sunday at 2 p.m. Despite the fact that we are 13 people without reservation, we were very well received and the cuisine is up to standard. We recommend ! 🙂

11/04/2024: So maybe it changed ownership or I missed something. For me it was more in pizzeria mode. We're already outside so I didn't really pay attention to whether there was a visible kitchen. The toilets upstairs are spotless and there is a pretty, very well appointed room which overlooks the harbour, I would happily have had my meal there. Very well received by the young, dynamic and friendly staff, it creates team spirit and a good working atmosphere. The meal was perfect. No really I don't understand the negative comments And yet I am difficult and critical at restaurants because I often tell myself that I do better. In short, as promised on Sunday I'm giving you 5 stars because it's deserved and if we come back to the area we'll know where to go for lunch or dinner 😉

31/12/2023: Very good New Year's Eve menu Excellent value for money. The best in Honfleur. Quality home cooking. Top notch welcome and service. Very warm owner and waitress with a top chef. We ate very, very well there. We will return. We will do it again, thank you.
