24/03/2026: Hop Seng restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Asian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the crispy honey chicken, which was flavorful and perfectly balanced. The decor, with its elegant red lanterns, creates a warm and exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Mei, who was very friendly and attentive, and made the service even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant and convivial experience.

I particularly enjoyed the Chongqing-style spicy beef, perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. The service provided by Mei, who was very friendly, made the experience even more enjoyable. The decor, with its traditional red lanterns, immediately sets the mood. A must-try, rated 4.7, that more than lives up to its reputation.

09/04/2026: We ordered the Chinese hot pot; the vegetables and meat were unlimited, but one portion was enough for two of us. We just thought it was a shame there wasn't any sauce available, otherwise everything was perfect (my boyfriend especially enjoyed the chicken) 😁 Be warned, the hot broth is REALLY hot! If you're sensitive to spice, I wouldn't recommend it, but I loved it 😊

27/03/2026: A very good experience at La Cité Du Mandarin in Toulouse. I was delighted by the Peking duck, which was flavorful and perfectly crispy. The service provided by Lin was quick and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The traditional decor with its red lanterns immediately immerses you in a Chinese atmosphere. A reliable place to enjoy authentic and generous cuisine.

11/10/2025: Usually very satisfied with what we order really, but yesterday I ordered a Bo Bun (the spring rolls are very dry, the beef is very tough) and we had ordered stir-fried noodles and we got a dish of bean sprouts instead...not a crumb of noodles. A little disappointed this time...😳and I clearly specified when ordering stir-fried noodles with vegetables and not stir-fried vegetables.... I always order the same thing lol The person who took the order must have had trouble hearing but I know that I'm not a fan of a dish of bean sprouts.... Why order it???? to err is human it's good to recognize it too... too bad doubly disappointed

07/02/2026: Stopped in because I’m staying at the HIE hotel across the street. It’s 730 on a Saturday night and the place is empty. I figured why not so I order the Saigon menu. WOW! The food was amazing. I had Samosa for entree and lemongrass chicken for Plat. Delicious! Enough spice so I tasted it but not overpowering. The young man who served me spoke very good English as well as French. I hope that this little restaurant makes it.

31/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! The ravioli in the soup (on the menu) had a horrible, spoiled meat taste! Being well-mannered (perhaps too well-mannered for the situation), I forced myself to swallow it! I shouldn't have; I'm still sick 17 hours later!

28/03/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent food... A small Vietnamese restaurant where I've been coming for years for takeout... Never disappointed by the quality. I love their vegetable spring rolls and shrimp spring rolls, and also their salads... The cooked dishes are very good too. In short, I highly recommend it!
