14/05/2026: This restaurant was a nightmare. At 8:35 PM, we barely got to the buffet, and to top it off, we ordered the beef with onions and black mushrooms and vomited less than an hour later, feeling sick. What a shame to realize that if there was no one there, there must have been a reason.
I hope they fix this quickly and pay attention to detail for their future customers.

05/06/2026: The woman, who was quite young, was very aggressive and unpleasant. We had put our plates on the next table because we hadn't cleared them. We were literally assaulted.
She went to complain to other customers, we overheard, and then she started acting out.
She assaulted us a second time—disgraceful! You're in the service industry!
There weren't many people there, and she deliberately seated a man alone next to us at that table, even though it was empty! You can see how malicious this person is. Even the man moved over on his own—why would we all be sitting together? When it came time to pay, she was speaking in her own language to her colleague, looking at us, and remaining very aggressive.

04/05/2026: MONDAY, MAY 4th, reservation made for 8:00 PM.
We were seated with the menus. We only had time to glance at the drinks list before being told, "It's 8:00 PM, it's Monday, we only have pork and chicken or shrimp with soy sauce left." Google Maps showed 10:00 PM, but when we arrived, she told us 9:00 PM.
We asked for some time to decide whether to stay, as there were very few choices. No spring rolls, no beef available. We chose two dishes and one portion of noodles. She brought our drinks... with the wonderful surprise of receiving canned lychee juice instead of fresh lychee juice with the little pieces thrown in (yes, I love that, I'm used to several brands, so I didn't fall for it). When I asked to see the bottle the juice came from, she took away my glass and gave me a can... the evidence is clear, the photo speaks for itself! The portions are tiny. We were only in the restaurant for a grand total of 28 minutes on a birthday evening... disappointing and shameful.
30/03/2026: We ended up at this restaurant because another one was exceptionally closed. It was a rather mixed, even unsettling, experience. We were greeted in an unusual manner, but fortunately, we were lucky enough to get a table for six. This wasn't the case for a couple who arrived after us and were refused entry because of us (note that the restaurant was occupied by three tables, for a total of 13 customers). As for the meal, the service was quite slow, and the waitress refused to serve us some dishes, claiming they took too long to prepare… (choose your spring rolls carefully!). I hope they're good, though, as we were there on March 23rd (two days after the start of spring).
In short… The food was decent, but the portions were rather small for the price.
We hope you enjoy your meal at the Mandarin. Please let us know what you think of the spring rolls if you have the chance to try them.

04/06/2026: What can I say? Expensive for what it is, limited selection, cold food, and they take your plate away even if you haven't finished it, twice in a row. Avoid it, I won't be going back. Waitresses are a profession.

I was drawn in by the window display, what a mistake.
I ordered stir-fried noodles and chicken with black mushrooms, which were completely tasteless and far too salty.
I thought I was going to have a delicious meal, but no such luck!

08/04/2026: Since the opening of its competitor, Panda King, less than two kilometers away, this family-run restaurant has lost all its customers. As a result, the all-you-can-eat buffet is no longer viable given the number of people eating there, the food offered is often stale, and the buffet isn't replenished. It's a shame because the owners have tried to improve the dining area by adding meat grills.
We had been customers for many years, but a bad experience a few months ago made us stop going. Perhaps a return to traditional menus would change the situation and allow for fresh, good-quality food.

11/07/2026: I'm giving it two stars because the staff were pleasant, unlike at the Amilly location, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant itself. There was very little choice, the steak was inedible, and my wife ordered shrimp skewers, which left her feeling sick all afternoon.

I was reading the reviews and found most of them quite harsh. (But certainly justified; a review only represents a single experience at a given moment.) As a regular, I'll share my longer-term experience.
The food is quite good. It's all-you-can-eat, clearly aiming for high turnover, but the food is still quite decent.
Sushi, maki, and other dishes are homemade, with just the right amount of rice and salmon.
The wok dishes are high quality.
Eating lunch on weekdays is cheaper but limits the choices. (No macarons, no sashimi...)
The desserts are mass-produced, but still tasty. The presence of freshly cut and peeled fruit is always a nice touch.
The service has never seemed unpleasant to me, but there isn't really any, and that's part of the concept.
If you're expecting high-end service and attentive service, then disappointment is inevitable. However, if you're looking for a buffet where you can eat at your own pace and enjoy a wide variety of choices, this restaurant is really great.
My friend and I have a tradition of trying all the all-you-can-eat restaurants, and frankly, this one is above average, with a more diverse selection than many others.
