14/01/2026: We went as a family on the recommendation of my colleagues. The cuisine was exquisite and refined. The portions were very generous. The setting is lovely. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. We will be back very soon. We had a wonderful meal. If you're ever in the area and want to enjoy a good couscous, don't hesitate.

07/12/2025: Hello, I'm not from the area, but this is my second visit and I'll be back to eat again, like today. I had a very good tartiflette and pasta carbonara for my friend. The cocktail was excellent, well done!
I would have even had half a tartiflette. And thank you to the waitress for her recommendation about the profiteroles: one choux pastry is enough. I ordered two, but I should have listened to her; they were beautiful, large, and delicious. Until next time. Best of luck and happy holidays!

03/01/2026: It was a real surprise when we went inside. When we opened the door, you could smell delicious kitchen aromas! It seemed (and became) busy for lunch. But fortunately, there was still a table available for us.
The hostess was extremely friendly. The menu du jour sounded good, so choosing it wasn't a difficult decision. And it was delicious, with pure flavors. This is exactly how you want to have lunch! We will definitely be back.
19/11/2025: This is my second time eating at this restaurant, and I'll eat there every time I'm in the area!
The welcome is very warm, the dining rooms are inviting and beautifully decorated, and the meal was excellent from start to finish—the snails, the foie gras, everything was delicious!

03/02/2026: A very good restaurant with a lovely terrace. Mâcon, delicious calf's head, Loire red wine, very successful sweetbreads with porcini mushrooms, and a very good vanilla soufflé with chocolate pastilles.
28/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Refined setting. They offer a set menu for €65 and another for €45. À la carte dishes are also available. The wine list is classic. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The flavors and seasonings are just right. The service is professional and attentive. We were served a little too quickly for my liking. The "mid-course drink" offered after the starter would have been better served after the main course.
It's a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. However, I suggest calling ahead as it seems the restaurant might be closing. Happy retirement to the owner...

We were told we hadn't made our choices yet, and she was amused, talking about us with her colleagues, staring at us, which made me cry a lot. Her interview needs to be redone; she's disrespectful, and it hurts a lot.

01/03/2026: Lunch break on the way to our holiday destination: no complaints about the service.
07/02/2026: We arrived to order McDonald's, everything was fine up to that point, but when we were served, the burgers were already cold. So we tried to eat them as soon as they were served, which shows a lack of care. We are fairly regular customers who often order from the McDonald's at Carrefour. Frankly, we're disappointed and hope for better next time, because service like this is unacceptable for the price we pay.

I recommend this place. (January 2026, this restaurant is said to have closed, however, a new owner might take over the business 🤞)

Just one small point for improvement: You shouldn't be thirsty; one carafe for 7 people is barely enough, and when it's empty, you have to ask for it again and again...

11/12/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly! The pasta was swimming in butter, cold, and dry! Accompanied by a measly little piece of chicken called "supreme." Incredibly bad! Very disappointing.
13/10/2025: Honestly I expected a lot more, the meat in the cauchu had no taste, and the drinks were way too expensive. I recommend it for a coffee, nothing to say about the coffee, but my god, the restaurant needs a lot of changes.

03/02/2026: During our stay at this Campanile hotel, we were initially very warmly welcomed and served by the waitress, who was very attentive and kind. This was despite the chef's lack of enthusiasm...
The atmosphere in the dining room was welcoming and the buffet was appealing (unlike the one in Montluçon, which has remained quite outdated).
The only downside was being given a room on the second floor without an elevator, even though we had specified that we were traveling with a baby. And there was no changing table in the restaurant restrooms, despite them being very spacious!
Apart from that, if the opportunity arises, we would gladly return to this hotel.
