17/08/2026: A small crêperie where everything is homemade; the galettes are very light and delicious. The staff is welcoming and efficient. If we had to mention one slight drawback, one or more fans would be welcome during this heatwave.

15/08/2026: We stopped in the Marais Poitevin for a day and the night.
The location is very close to the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice) with easy parking.
The manager was very welcoming and helpful; he even booked us a boat trip from the dock less than 500 meters away. Excellent value for money.
11/08/2026: Great location after a boat trip with Venise Verte Évasion nearby,
to avoid the tourist trap of Coulon.
A simple, authentic hotel next to a stream.
Don't compare it to a hotel next to a highway with a swimming pool in Niort where there's nothing to see.
The owners are very attentive, with fresh water and a terrace available for picnics.
For dining, there are plenty of nice little restaurants in the neighboring villages.
