Les meilleurs restaurants en Lalinde

13/09/2024: Visited last night. Poor food and no idea on presentation. The starters were served in small dessert bowls. These were full of uninteresting salad one with a small piece of French bread topped with goats cheese. The other with some mixed charcuterie around the top. No imagination whatsoever into presentation. The main feature was the salad which was not even mentioned on the menu. The restaurant was very busy with one waitress serving both the bar and the food area. Menus were on heavy blackboards carried to each table by the waitress. The main course we chose was confit de canard which we were told was served with potatoes. These arrived on cold plates with a pile of lukewarm penne pasta on the side covered in what might have been a mushroom sauce and some fried onions. The duck was fine but no better than what you buy in the supermarket and cook at home. Total cost including wine was €76.20. We mentioned to the waitress that the food was average but she wasn’t interested. I’m amazed at the fact the kitchen staff are so unaware of presentation and what goes well together. One of the other tables were also unhappy with their food and mentioned to the cook when he came to clear the table. I would not recommend this restaurant. The visit was disappointing.

Every bite is a testament to the love and care that went into selecting the ingredients. It’s a true ode to local cuisine! But that's not all: we also had the chance to meet some super friendly local people who add a touch of hospitality and friendliness to the experience. 14/08/2024: While on vacation, I looked at the reviews and pushed the door open. Honestly not disappointed, welcome. Excellent pizza with fresh products. My son had the children's menu a treat.

29/07/2024: Such a nice place to have a drink. They don't have food but you can go to the boulangerie pâtisserie just next door and buy a croissant (and/or many other delicious choices available) and have your drink at Café de la Paix. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like you are visiting friends.

19/09/2024: A little late arrival for us at 1:35 p.m. but still served Friendly and welcoming staff, an excellent and well served meal. THANKS I highly recommend

13/09/2024: Lunch after the Thursday market in Lilande. The menu du jour was good food and good value. The pression is a bit expensive, but overall tasty food and a very pleasant experience.
