The welcome was warm, the food excellent and a true tribute to local producers, and to top it all off, a reading of an excerpt from Madame de Sévigné.
A restaurant that is both committed and engaging.

05/08/2026: After visiting the Crest Tower, we stopped at the Charleston. It had a cozy bistro atmosphere, with ceiling fans that were especially welcome given the heat.
The crepes were excellent, as were the ice creams—a real treat. A friendly place, ideal for a short break after sightseeing.
We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

28/07/2026: Yesterday, after a long break, we decided to have dinner at this restaurant, and what did we get? Frozen fries and a hamburger, both bought at the supermarket. Fast food at restaurant prices. I don't recommend it.

13/05/2025: While visiting Crest, we chose this restaurant for its daily menu featuring fish or meat. From starter to dessert, we were delighted; the fish was cooked to perfection with delicious herb-infused vegetables whose aromas linger in the mouth.
The welcome was very friendly; this restaurant is well worth the detour.

20/07/2026: Great, it's calm, the waiter is smiling and friendly, I felt a bit like I was at the beach with the parasols and their "Dame Blanche" (white chocolate dessert) is very good, perfect for cooling down in the heat.

29/07/2026: I'm forced to give one star because the boss is very aggressive and completely crazy. Things can be said without verbal aggression; even the waitress isn't pleasant, just like her boss.

07/08/2026: Thursday evening in August at 8pm: 50 minutes to get my order which arrived incomplete (without fries) and cold. No more ice.
06/08/2026: A disgrace!!! The bins are overflowing (to put it politely).
The tables are dirty, only one of the six ordering kiosks is working... In short, if you're in the area, I recommend the McDonald's in Étoile-sur-Rhône.

24/10/2024: Pleasant welcome. Cozy room. Uneven dishes. Great discoveries (buternut velouté with smoked egg) and basic dishes without originality or flavor: the octopus salad is just an uninteresting green salad!! When you have 2 glasses of champagne for 24 euros it would be appropriate to offer something to nibble: e.g. a little tapenade...
A little expensive. These small shortcomings do not necessarily make you want to continue the adventure at Kleber.

It was in a warm setting that we were able to appreciate the chef's beautiful inspirations, bringing us real taste flavors with excellent surprises that were both surprising and delicious.
