Passing through Crest, we ate at the restaurant. The welcome was perfect, the food very good, I recommend it.
However, a minor drawback: the salmon tartare at €16 was a bit pricey considering the portion size.

We arrived at 8:05 PM, and the manager's welcome was cold. Every question we asked her was met with an unpleasant and dismissive response, making us feel unwelcome. Furthermore, we had to wait 35 minutes for the menus (which we had to ask for). Many thanks to the second waitress, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She saved our evening!

A lovely establishment nestled at the far end of the square, peacefully shaded by plane trees. The menu is as concise as the sourcing of ingredients. It's appealing. Good, well-prepared local produce. Generous portions. A very nice wine list, with interesting suggestions for wines by the glass. Very pleasant service. In short, I highly recommend it.

A wonderful lunchtime at La Salle à Manger.
The welcome was warm, the food excellent and a true tribute to local producers, and to top it all off, a reading of an excerpt from Madame de Sévigné.
A restaurant that is both committed and engaging.

Passing through, we hadn't yet discovered LA SALLE A MANGER, but we appreciated the setting, the atmosphere, the service, and especially the meal. We enjoyed it so much that two days later, on our way back, we stopped by again to savor the delicious food.
