The owner of the place walks around among the guests and is very kind and nice.

30/05/2026: I had the paella with prawns but probably should go for the one with lobster instead, just for 10 EUR more. The potion was generous with many seafoods. The paella tasted excellent! The staffs were friendly and professional as well.

30/05/2026: I went back to this bar where I'd been with friends who were regulars; and this time the welcome was disrespectful, almost rude. A completely surreal experience. Clearly, they didn't like the look of me. What a shame: I work nearby and live in Nice. I'm not some passing tourist they can just make fun of.

16/05/2026: It makes you feel like you're in a Japanese izakaya (pub). The staff's attentiveness is warm and wonderful. The food isn't incredibly delicious, but the sashimi, fried chicken, and rice balls were good.

29/03/2026: We were attacked by a drunk man who assaulted a friend of mine. The "security" man—if you can even call him that—did absolutely nothing except protect the man. Security was nonexistent. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
Avoid it.

16/05/2026: Go for it without hesitation! 👍☺️ The waiter (Selena's dad) is extremely friendly, very professional, and attentive to the customers.
We had lunch on Friday, May 15th with my daughter. We ordered the beef tartare, which was excellent and very fresh.
The "real" tartare!!! You mix it yourself, with quality, lean meat and 8 ingredients to mix!
A delight! To accompany it, excellent homemade bistro-style fries!
Honestly, nothing to complain about 💯 and the price is affordable. The quality-price ratio is impeccable 👍 Plus, you're served quickly.
No wonder this establishment is still going strong! ☺️👏👏👏

31/01/2026: I agree with the other comments. This establishment is clearly more interested in money than customer satisfaction. The food is very basic and predictable. The only positive point is its location, right in the city center.
The professionalism of the staff is questionable, especially on the terrace, where respect for customers leaves much to be desired.

15/10/2024: The portions are generous but the pan bagnat is a total failure. Too wet without oil, blanched onion, no taste. For a real Nice girl it’s just saddening. Sad to pay almost €7 for a product that downgrades local gastronomy in a historic district. To be sick afterwards too
