Maido sur Nice

A wonderful discovery this year. I especially loved the tempura, kaarage, and potato mochi. The service was lively and unpretentious, just like the wines.

A superb culinary experience. I have rarely found the flavors of Japan so well outside of its islands!

Everything was excellent, both savory and sweet! Lovers of natural wines, good food, and a wide variety of sakes, this is an address to remember! Conversations and good cheer guaranteed.

Very nice small place. Excellent food made with love. Instead of visiting 5 or 6 restaurants in Japan you can get a variety of Japanese dishes at the same place - Tapas style. Service was very friendly and fast. We certainly will visit it again.

We had a wonderful meal: the food was exquisite and delicious. The gyoza were to die for! The waitress was lovely. The place is tiny but very cozy.

We arrived as a couple without a reservation (sorry) It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was absolutely amazing and the cheesecake was sublime. Thank you, arigato!

2025-11 A very quaint place - warm beef curry on cold nights. Better to make a reservation than try and walk in, but the staff always tries to maximize your experience. The kitchen bringing out the meals is priceless. And don’t forget to get the karage!! 2026-02 Update Still great, new and improved photos, upgraded the service. This time I had a reservation but still got the same table. Super quaint place. Great to go in a group so you can get everything on the menu and try everything at one seating. Kimchi with parsley are an amazing combination.

Excellent, very enjoyable, a quality experience! A must-do, and worth doing again!
