Maido sur Nice

Very nice small place. Excellent food made with love. Instead of visiting 5 or 6 restaurants in Japan you can get a variety of Japanese dishes at the same place - Tapas style. Service was very friendly and fast. We certainly will visit it again.

We had a wonderful meal: the food was exquisite and delicious. The gyoza were to die for! The waitress was lovely. The place is tiny but very cozy.

We arrived as a couple without a reservation (sorry) It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was absolutely amazing and the cheesecake was sublime. Thank you, arigato!

2025-11 A very quaint place - warm beef curry on cold nights. Better to make a reservation than try and walk in, but the staff always tries to maximize your experience. The kitchen bringing out the meals is priceless. And don’t forget to get the karage!! 2026-02 Update Still great, new and improved photos, upgraded the service. This time I had a reservation but still got the same table. Super quaint place. Great to go in a group so you can get everything on the menu and try everything at one seating. Kimchi with parsley are an amazing combination.

My favorite restaurant in Nice!

One of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip to France. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional, engaging, and knowledgeable. The sake pairing was wonderful! We'll definitely be back.

A true izakaya in Nice, we especially loved the sea bream sashimi, beef tataki, chicken kaarage, squid stir-fried in ink, Nagano gin, and Camargue sake. Impeccable service. We'll be back.
