02/09/2026: Every time I visit Marseille, I come to this restaurant. And we have a wonderful time every time! The antipasti platter is generous and delicious, the pasta with scallops is divine, and the desserts are excellent. The waitress is super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable! Don't hesitate to go inside; the decor is worth seeing! I highly recommend it!

David, the owner, is very helpful. They also organize themed evenings, creating a great atmosphere! This restaurant/wine shop is a wonderful discovery that we highly recommend.

02/10/2026: Absolutely fantastic evening here. We came spontaneously because the restaurant next door, where we had originally planned to eat, was closed. We had three incredibly well-prepared tapas: figs, mussels with Gorgonzola sauce, and tuna tartare. It was truly well worth it, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely come back; excellent value for money.

22/08/2026: Excellent meal, high-quality ingredients! There were 10 of us with a reservation. The service was very pleasant, the portions were perhaps a little small for some dishes, but the flavors were definitely there! There was a small error on the bill, but after pointing it out, the professionalism was evident, and I thank you for that; we gladly left it as a tip. I highly recommend it!

18/05/2026: Very disappointed with this meal. The asparagus starter was undercooked, the fish was a small fillet of sea bream served on a bed of peas and broccoli, cold as if straight from the fridge, and the dessert was simple: three tasteless strawberries drowned in industrial whipped cream. All this for €48 per person without wine.

13/10/2026: Very nice seafood dishes (octopus and sea bream), tasty with nice accompaniment (of polenta and mashed potatoes, respectively). Staff is friendly and service prompt. Nice location about a half block off the Vieux Port so dining outside is very pleasant. Overall, highly recommend!

11/10/2026: A true gem in the heart of Aix-en-Provence! We had a fantastic time at La Cita. The place has incredible charm and offers a very festive and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The tapas are simply excellent and particularly generous! It's the ideal spot for a great evening with friends, enjoying delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. A must-visit in Aix, we'll definitely be back!

10/10/2026: Lovely place! We walked by late during a busy friday night. One of the waiters registered that i was hesitating and convinced us by warmly invinting us and recommending the patio. rightly so, very cool and familiar atmosqhere. We didnt intend to eat at first, (bc we just did) but couldnt resist after seeing the tapas. All of us liked them alot even tho neither of us usually loves spanish cuisine. what really made the night tho, was definitely the team, the whole staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Including spontaneous experiments in the kitchen to compensate for ingredients that were out, briefly reopening the kitchen when it was actually closed already in the first place and just beeing so so friendly, funny and welcoming. Thank you! ❤️

04/10/2026: There was a cockroach on the ceiling while we were eating. The waitress was completely unhelpful and unpleasant, and on top of that, it was overpriced. In short, I strongly advise against going there. I reported the cockroach, and the managers' response was: "There's nothing we can do." Oh, okay, I didn't realize you couldn't kill cockroaches in 2026.

13/09/2026: What can I say about the tapas? Cold octopus, undercooked and overly salty potatoes, and inedible mini chorizos—they must have been microwaved, judging by their texture. The pork pluma was overcooked and served with parsley sauce, which ruined everything. Only the para negra was decent. We won't be going back, which is a real shame because it used to be a great place a few years ago!
