12/12/2025: A truly delightful hotel right in the heart of Nîmes' historic center. Just steps from the Maison Carrée and an underground parking garage. The place itself is cozy, charming, original, and steeped in history. The (young) staff are incredibly attentive and kind. It's comfortable without being ostentatious, but of a high standard. A hotel we would gladly recommend and return to. 🤩👌👍

High quality menu for €24 and very warm welcome even though we arrived a little late for service. If you are passing through Anduze, don’t hesitate.
18/09/2024: A real treat! Last night an excellent meal with adorable and friendly waiters. A pleasure for the taste buds and the eyes in this superb setting.

22/09/2024: Everything takes a very long time, even though we have reserved. After 40 minutes a salad with ready-made dressing from the bottle. 500g Cote de boeff was burnt on the edges, not seasoned. Wrong side dishes for the burger, red instead of rosé wine. Not again

08/09/2024: On our second visit to Uzes we returned to Au Suisse d’Alger for a beer. As last time, we had a platter of tapas for supper which were tasty and very good value at three for 15 Euros.
Situated in a lovely location and with excellent service, this is a very good bar.

The real cherry 🍒 on top is the dynamic young man who served us, making the experience spontaneous yet luxurious, unstrained and very welcoming. We appreciate you!
20/07/2024: Great place located in the indoor fresh market in Nimes. There are about half a dozen options for starters as well as mains, and also some desserts. We had steak tartare, veal, rosated padron peppers, iberico ham (yummie) and the house burger. All very, very well cooked, served with a smile and professional expert info when required. Nice wine list, with a handful of wines by the glass.
