The value for money is well worth the 5 stars.
The starters are really well made, the dishes are hearty, and the meat and fish are of very good quality, cooked to perfection.
The desserts are really good too, which at this price level is rare...
So this with the addition of cheese for 36 euros there is nothing to complain about!
To be a perfectionist, the meat dish was perhaps too garnished, with too many things on the plate (I would like to point out once again that this is not a question at this price level).
The service is also very friendly, with professional waiters, without falling into the haughty/snob nature of some bistronomic restaurants of this type.
05/12/2024: A restaurant where we take visual and gustatory pleasure! Still excellent. The beef picanha was tender, a pure marvel. We had a wonderful evening. Thanks to the Auberge de l’Epine team

03/09/2024: Nous venons de déjeuner à 2 et nous avons été très bien servis par une personne agréable.
L’entrée et le plat ont été très copieux, nous n’avons pas pu finir et pas pu prendre de dessert sinon nous aurions du faire notre digestion sur place.
Je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour ces produits frais très bien cuisinés, le foie gras maison est top à prendre dans hésiter !
26/08/2024: A storefront and decoration that doesn't look like much, but I recommend this restaurant.
Very generous portions, home cooking, it was excellent. We will come back without hesitation.

28/10/2024: Ce restaurant nous est familier mais l'expérience est toujours très agréable à chaque fois. La salle est toujours pleine, plus de 100 personnes, mais le service est toujours précis et très professionnel. Le foie gras en entrée est une valeur sûre et très bon. En plat, entrecôte, ris de veau, magret, tout est parfait, très bonne cuisson. Les desserts sont de qualité notamment les profiterolles. Chacun peut aller choisir son vin dans la cave tempérée à côté de la salle. En été, le service peut se faire en extérieur au bord du lac. Toujours un très bon moment en famille pour moins de 400 € à six personnes.

05/12/2025: What a shame, and I was very disappointed with this experience…
First, the evening started when I wanted to order a Happy Meal. Imagine my surprise when I saw that it cost an extra €0.50 for a Croc McDo and I didn't even have the option of ordering fries. The meal was already starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Then at 10:30 pm, I wanted to order a milkshake, but I couldn't complete the purchase, either at the kiosk or on the app.
So I decided to go directly to the register, where I had to wait more than 5 minutes before anyone took my order.
The employee did eventually try to take the order, but when it came time to confirm it, she needed her manager's badge.
Disappointed, the manager came back and told me she was "strictly forbidden" from taking my order. How disappointed I was!
I still managed to finish my meal before another employee ushered us towards the exit. I couldn't finish my fries.
I finally finished them in my car (because it was raining outside) and went to get my dessert at Burger King. My King Fusion was absolutely delicious.
That's a real shame for you and disappointing for me.
05/12/2025: 10:35 PM: I ordered a milkshake, which was refused by the manager.
Too bad, because the employee was ready to serve it. Closing time: 11 PM, I don't see what the problem is.
Oh well, I'll go get a Super King Fusion from the neighboring Burger King, which has much better reviews...
