The owner is very welcoming and charismatic!
I highly recommend visiting this bar if you're in Douarnenez. It's the only bar of interest in this town!

11/09/2025: We ordered two pizzas.
I chose the 4-vegetable pizza, but I only got 3 vegetables: the artichoke bottoms were missing. The pizza was tasteless, with strange-tasting eggplant. As for the mozzarella, there's no point in talking about it... unless you like plastic.
My friend had a mountain pizza: the same, nothing special.
The night was restless, with stomach cramps until morning.
In short, I really don't recommend it.
03/09/2025: As with the king cake, you can find beans in it. The one I chewed (fortunately, I didn't break any teeth) was made of metal... I can't imagine the consequences if I had swallowed it because the piece was sharp and pointed...
As a precaution, we went back to report the problem (the consequences could have been much worse), but despite this unpleasant surprise, they didn't think they would offer any goodwill or refund. Never again.

Für einen Snack angehalten und immerhin noch um 15:30 warme Küche
Man sollte sich etwas Zeit nehmen da die Bedienung jung und keine Fachkraft war aber ihren Job gut erledigte.
Ich fand es angemessen

10/10/2025: A parenthesis out of time, this place is extraordinary, it resonates with a past life that was rich and elegant. Today the hotel needs a little freshening up, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the view of the ocean is magnificent, the gourmet breakfast in a dining room facing the ocean is captivating, homemade cakes, jams too, the hostess of the place welcomes with great kindness and a lot of elegance. There you have it, lots of little things need to be reviewed, but in a large building this is not surprising.

14/09/2024: Deplorable service, no smile, I asked for bread and butter when ordering and was told "well yes, logical", they are dressed in jogging pants, really disappointed with the staff. On the other hand, the food was not bad, I ate well, a little expensive though.

I had a 280 sandwich with potatoes! A real delight.

09/08/2024: Heureusement que nous ne smnous sommes pas fixés aux commentaires négatifs récents. Nous avons regardé la terrasse 5 mn, nous y avons vu 2 jeunes serveurs souriants et dynamiques, nous avons vu 2 ou 3 assiettes fort sympathiques passer et nous avons demandé à être installés, ce qui fût fait rapidement.
La formule plat dessert boisson est un excellent rapport qualité prix et visiblement l'adresse semble bonne car en 20mn, toutes les tables étaient prises.
Les sardines merveilleusement cuites, le fish and ships excellent et la soupe de fraise très agréable.
Mon petit bémol reste les frites quand elles ne sont pas maison. Mais il semble que cela change et peut être que bientôt ici aussi ce sera bientôt le cas même si elles étaient plutôt bonnes malgré cela.
Un bon moment, soleil en bonus

20/08/2024: The staff is very pleasant but the service is slow and unorganized. We don't clear the tables to prepare breakfast when no one takes care of bringing you the dessert menu or taking your order. The portions are not very generous and you leave the table without being satisfied. We will not return to the hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner although we are satisfied with the accommodation and breakfast.

02/09/2024: Situé à 20 m de l'hôtel éponyme et héberge aussi le petit déjeuner. Pas de carte. Mignon de cochon avec pommes rôties, petits pois et persil broyé à 22 € (délicieux), Kouign Amann avec crème légère à la vanille à 10 € (délicieux). Service rapide.

A conseiller pour boire un verre (très bonnes bières pression) et pour manger simplement de bons produits, notamment les fromages et les charcuteries.
