We've been regulars at Okavango for years and have never been disappointed. It's a place we know well and always return to with pleasure.
The welcome is very warm, the service impeccable, and you immediately feel at ease. We appreciate the friendly atmosphere.
The menu is varied, with traditional cuisine that showcases local products and stands out with delightful touches of creativity.
Between the appetizers, meats, fish, and burgers, there's something for everyone.
On our last visit, we enjoyed:
the Bresse burger
Black Angus steak, fresh salad, tomatoes, and a generous portion of Bleu de Bresse cheese
Green asparagus panna cotta with basil tomato coulis and shrimp.
And on sunny days, the large shaded terrace is a real bonus for fully enjoying the warmth of the sun.

05/10/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had a wonderful evening, and the staff were impeccable, especially the waitress who looked after our table. We wish you all the best.
03/10/2026: Excellent cuisine with delicate and perfectly balanced flavors, blending tradition and originality. Today I had a delicious fillet of sea bream with sardine cream. Brilliant and original. My wife had the frogs' legs...more traditional, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. Amuse-bouches and a side salad with truffle oil. Top-notch!

17/08/2026: We were treated like royalty, even though we were just passing through. The staff were very attentive, the burgers were generously filled, and the Alpine ice cream was the best! A must-visit address in a magnificent setting!
04/08/2026: The servers were very welcoming and friendly; I was delighted to have eaten there twice during my week-long holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will gladly return for my next vacation. Thank you to the whole team! ☺️

11/09/2025: We only had lunch at the restaurant, not staying at the hotel.
The meal was okay, but nothing special.
Definitely, don't order the tiramisu, as it's a very dry biscuit that hasn't been dipped in Marsala coffee. It's disappointing.
08/09/2025: Beautiful hotel with a lovely garden and pool. Parking is available within their gate. However, breakfast is served at their other location, a 5-minute walk away. A good breakfast with a wide selection costs €18. It's located in the village center, very central.

27/07/2024: A correct choice of cheeses, all very good for what we chose, some pleasant nuggets, but Madam Manager, after consultation, you are professional but despite some attempts to relax the atmosphere, not very smiling (and I moderate the comments of my friend who was with his daughter). A vague feeling that we were disturbing you.
This is the only downside, shared by other customers, when reading the other reviews.
