However, several elements seemed poorly executed: the sea bass fillet (à la carte, €26) was overcooked and dry, as was the mashed potato, which tasted like it had been reheated. The Grand Marnier crêpe, presented on a slate as a specialty, arrived already soaked without being flambéed and lacked freshness, with a non-homemade caramel. The overall impression was one of rushed execution, which is inconsistent with the price point and the restaurant's location next to the Carlton in Cannes (a demanding environment). Why not focus solely on daily specials to avoid unnecessary complexity in the kitchen?
