This year they're not welcoming, not customer-oriented, they're unpleasant, bordering on disrespectful.
And it's not just me, it's the entire clientele.
Only two former servers are trying to salvage what they can.
They won't see me again.
15/05/2026: I visited New York Restaurant in Cannes today around 8 PM with my wife, and unfortunately, the experience started very badly because of the person welcoming guests at the entrance.
As soon as we arrived, she kept staring at us and judging what we were wearing, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. When I politely asked for a table for dinner, she replied in a rude and unfriendly manner that the waiting time was 20–25 minutes, even though several tables were clearly empty. When I mentioned that I could see available tables, she repeated the same answer with an angry expression and an impolite attitude.
I told her it was fine and that we would wait. Surprisingly, only 2 minutes later, she invited us to a table, which made the whole situation even more confusing and unprofessional.
A restaurant’s first impression matters a lot, and unfortunately this employee completely failed in basic customer service. I strongly recommend hiring someone who knows how to welcome customers with respect, professionalism, and a smile. The current hostess was clearly not competent for this role and seriously damaged the overall experience.

Original, generous, and delicious dishes.
We loved the atmosphere. Relaxed vibe, like a nice brasserie. It fills up quickly. Be sure to book!
19/05/2026: An unremarkable menu and mediocre food quality despite the high prices.
Disastrous service: we waited 25 minutes for a table despite arriving on time. 15 minutes for them to take our order, and another 25 minutes for our appetizers, without ever receiving an apology or anything to minimize the inconvenience.
I dared to complain and ask them to shorten the wait for the main course, but the two rude and arrogant wait staff accused me of assaulting them. All this while the third staff member laughed sarcastically in my face…
Absolutely avoid!
NB: I'm editing this based on the restaurant owner's comment, which is completely false. No one ever offered us a table outside, but upon our arrival, we were asked to sit while we waited for a table (25 minutes to be precise). Were they confused with other guests? The aggressiveness is evidenced by the fact that, at my first and only complaint about what was happening, three dining room managers showed up at my table in an inappropriate tone, without even acknowledging the facts or apologizing in any way.
For the price/quality ratio: €100 for two appetizers, two main courses, and two glasses of wine seems high to me.

21/04/2026: While searching for a good and affordable crêperie on our day trip to Cannes, a local passerby recommended this one. When we later had lunch there, we weren't disappointed:
The crêpes and galettes were superbly prepared and delicious. And all for under €10 per crêpe! Fantastic value for money!
The service was also very friendly and attentive, and we felt truly comfortable in the crêperie's atmosphere.
If I'm ever back in Cannes, I already know where I'll eat first. A great restaurant!

The blonde hostess/waitress that is half French, half Scottish I forgot to ask your name but you were amazing and you should get a raise once your boss sees this review!
The restaurant food was good and the beach staff was nice as well! Especially being French 😜
Now they were renovating for a collab with Armani so hope service and vibes won’t change too much
