05/02/2026: What a great hotel right at the Croisette in Cannes! Very friendly and helpful Staff (especially Luana) who helped me organise various things and saved my phone - thank you! Also the breakfast is great and the rooms are light and tidy. A really good experience!!

10/04/2026: An exceptional place. A magnificent site which, after a few years of closure, has been completely renovated. The lobby is majestic with its chandeliers, high ceilings, and marble. The staff is incredibly attentive. Friendly and smiling! The breakfast is enormous but a bit pricey at 54 euros. In any case, in this category, all prices are high. I treated myself to a Coca-Cola at the bar for 14 euros. Served with olives, crisps, and cashews. The room was comfortable. The bed was enormous. Thick carpeting on the floor. Bathroom with shower and bathrobes. Numerous toiletries were available. Around 3 p.m., they leave some homemade treats for you to enjoy in your room. They prepare you for the night before you go to sleep by making up your bed, closing the curtains, and placing a small bottle of water on your bedside table. And, if you please, your pajamas folded at the edge of the bed! I was lucky enough to have a sea view. There's an outdoor (heated?) infinity pool in the central garden. Inviting sun loungers surround the pool. Soft background music plays, and the garden is beautifully decorated with greenery and relaxation areas. And above all... lots and lots of marble. An exceptional place. After that, it's hard to go back to normal life!

15/03/2026: We had lunch at le Dauphin. The food was decent, but nothing special. I was so looking forward to a bowl of muscles but that too was a bit bland. The table hadn’t been wiped, there was still tomato sauce from yesterday. The server was pleasant with us but then got into an argument with another table. Price wise, it was ok. Especially for the day special. Nice looking plate of fish with dessert.

31/03/2026: A very convincing wine cellar. Almost exclusively Burgundy, and that's perfect! The selection is wide and covers all budgets, from simple and accessible wines to more ambitious bottles. You immediately sense that you're dealing with connoisseurs. The advice is precise without being intrusive (which is rare these days with all those wannabe pros who talk about natural wines all day long), and makes you want to come back and explore further. The spirits selection complements everything nicely, and the cellar is well-stocked. You can take your time to look, compare, and chat. The place feels more like entering a winemaker's cellar than a simple shop. It's not quite Saint Vincent's Day, but almost. All that's missing is an egg meurette to make the experience complete. A solid address for anyone who loves Burgundy and is looking for a serious, lively, and well-run establishment. I'll be back and I highly recommend it!

13/04/2026: A very disappointing experience at Fouquet’s Cannes, clearly not up to the advertised standard. I was staying at the Majestic Barrière and had dinner at Fouquet’s with friends. Before ordering, I very clearly asked the waitress if the €68 pasta was al dente. I specified that I don't like overcooked pasta and that I would send it back if it wasn't cooked properly. She confidently replied that it was, adding that the chef was Italian. The result: the pasta arrived overcooked. So I sent it back, which seemed perfectly reasonable given the price and the prior discussion. Then I was told that the chef was offended and refused to remake the dish, and that I had to order something else. This is unacceptable, especially in an establishment of this caliber. The waitress then informed me that the dish would be removed from the bill since I hadn't eaten it. So I ordered a chicken supreme instead. It took ages to arrive, just like the dish of one of my friends, who was served much later. And when my dish finally arrived, another disappointment: dry, overcooked chicken. But the worst was yet to come. When I asked for the bill, I noticed that the €68 pasta was still on the list, even though I had been clearly told it had been removed. So, without checking, I would have paid for a dish that was botched, uneaten, and that the chef had refused to remake. Between the botched cooking, the chef's attitude, the poorly managed service, the inconsistent delivery times, and the bill error, the experience was a disaster from beginning to end. At this price point, it's unacceptable.

26/03/2026: Passing through Cannes, I was looking for a reasonably priced salad. I was delighted; the welcome was warm and friendly. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the salad was prepared to order, so adjustments were possible. A real treat! And the portion was very generous, excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

07/04/2026: We've been coming here for years and it's always flawless. The food has that truly authentic, traditional "homemade" taste that's becoming rare, and frankly, the price is just perfect for such quality. What I love is that it's just as good for a large gathering of friends as it is for a romantic dinner; there really is something for everyone. The staff always welcomes us as if we were part of the family, and we immediately feel at ease. It's a pure joy to go back every time—a truly precious find!

05/03/2026: The food is very good and the service is courteous and efficient. However, there's a major drawback regarding the champagne: - First, there's a lack of transparency about the champagnes offered on the menu. Only the name of the cheapest champagne is listed. - When you ask the waiter (who seems very embarrassed), he specifies the name of the champagne, but be warned: despite the significant price difference, the cheapest champagne is served by the glass! And this happens three times! This is unacceptable! These are all the little tricks used by (unscrupulous) restaurant owners after the MIPIM conference or during the summer season to inflate their profit margins. It's a shame because it tarnishes the image of this fabulous city! Ask to taste the champagne 🍾 before being served, and ask for the bottle to be presented.

20/03/2026: We had a delightful lunch today. Noix St. Jacques (scallops) and Lotte Rôti (monkfish). Delicious & generous portions. Tart citron & souffle Gran Marnier for dessert. As delicious as our meals. No name house wines were good & fairly priced. Excellent service. Looking forward to our next meal at Astoux et Brun.

18/03/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant during our visit to Cannes. The fish and oysters were very good and fresh. The service was attentive and fast.

05/04/2026: A small restaurant on a side street off Rue d'Antibes. The place isn't huge; the tables are spaced very close together, which is average for French restaurants. However, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the very kind waiters looked after us attentively, always remembering that I didn't speak French (which isn't a given!). The dishes we chose honestly exceeded my expectations; everything was prepared and presented with great care, with truly bold and well-balanced flavors. The desserts deserve an honorable mention! We chose the lunch option: two courses and dessert for €34 (excluding coffee and water), truly affordable and excellent for a business lunch, especially considering the quantity and quality of what we tasted. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, and I'll definitely be returning!
